Anybody ever got the flu or something from passing around a blunt or bowl or something... BECUASE I DID AND I FEEL LIKE SHIT.

I do wonder if the occurance of illness is higher for regular weed smokers just becuase they often share weed and smoke in groups, thus the transmission of germs is probably occuring at a higher rate.

Regardless, I feel awful, but the positive is that becuase I'm stuck in bed, I haven't smoked a cig in nearly 24 hours, but I am beginning to freak out just a bit.

well, apparently your immune system is more susceptible to disease while actually smoking weed, but once you're pretty well blazed and you stop, you're back to normal, so it's insanely easy to spread sickness. I'm sick right now, but I'm 3 days in and almost better. Vitamin C powder kiddos.

im sure it happens although i would try not to pass with someone who is sick. then again i have a strong immune system so i dont usually get sick. like crippler said pump your body with vitamin C and also drink as many antioxidants as you can(cranberry juice,tea,vitaminE) and smoke some weed if you got it. not sure if it will cure you but it cant hurt.

I was going to smoke some weed when I was sick though, but the problem is, I have an old ice hockey injury that causes acid reflux when I'm sick, so any sort of smoke irritates that and really hurts. Weed would have been nice though becuase it calms my stomach and I had a nasty stomach virus. Without being too graphic, I will never eat another bacon cheddar melt from Arby's, even if they were doing 2 for 5 bucks.

But now that I'm back to 100 percent, I can't wait to pack my bowl full of some big bud which I just purchaced.

I just got over a flu, it went around.. it sucked.

I'm probably the only guy in a 100 mile radius that doesn't have the flu. But seriously, tons of people have it, and I never have it. I haven't had the flu once in my life as far as I remember.

for some reason before i started smoking weed i had sinus allergies and would catch alot of colds but ever since i took my first puff ive never had a sinus problem again.

Weed defenitely lowers your immune system-- but so does allot of things.... I got sick after running tht 15 minute run we had to do for phys-ed.---- It was a bitch, but a little chronic in my lungs fixed me up Good.

i think that if anything it raises your immunity level.

the reason i say it raises it is because of the sinus problem i spoke of earlier and when i was smoking on a regualr basis i would never get sick as soon as a quit for a while i got sick. scientifically speaking i have no idea how it would help or hurt.

Yeah me and all 4 of my friends i regularly smoke with all got the flu at the same time and we were all outta school for about a week.
