Smoking with butter knifes

I was wondering if any of you guys have ever heard of putting two butter knifes on the stove till the ends get red hot and then putting a bud in between the two knifes and getting some kind of tube and sucking the smoke. My friends say that it gets them high quick because it burns all the thc out of the bud. What do you guys think?
