i love swimkming in he sea when im stoned. not like marathon or sprint swimming, just in shallow water easily floating around, dicing and doing somersaults, that kinda game.
its such a lovely feeling.
definately something about weed which offers greater connection with the nature m, in this case the sea..

I Must admit thats one thing that i've never done before I MUST give it a try.

I live very close to a beach, therefore the sea aint too far either. But it's disgustingly murky, i wouldn't swim in it unless i was lookin for an ear infection.

I with you on that one cusmar, If you go swimming in the sea near brighton your fuckin stupid. Unless your really drunk, then you kinda got an excuse.lol.

I live by the Sea aswell except its fucking freezing

i dont really like swimming from the beach due to sharks and all that other stuff but i love jumping off a boat in the Keys and swimming out a ways.

when i was in highschool my friend used to live on a lake and i would always go swimming there when i was high. it feels great to feel the water moving around your body like that.

sucmar, mate, i been swimming in brighton/hove area sea every summer 02-05 and I never develpped any medical problems(the same goes for my naval comrade,mario.it was he who got me back into the habit of swimming in the sea whenver the weather permitted), in fact the only time i had ne health issues from wimming, it was when i went in the dam chlorinated king alfred in my illfated stint as pool lifeguard.
just a note here to advise any stoners that lifeguard is a terrilbe career path..i found it so boring, that i started getting quite stoned at work, so even if neone had been drowning i prbably just woulda smiled and gone back to looking through the simpson trumps cards, working out some tricks for making sure the powerful FLANDERS found its way into my hand..

i cant disagree with you in any way over the temperature of the stretch of water we are talking about, even if/when the british summer peaks in burtss of 30C+, brighton/hove sea stays ice cold....

if the next year turns out newhere near how i hope, then i will have my own little white widows growing somewhere near/in brighton/hove, and ill try persuade you to have enough widow to release the sea baby in you, then we will advance to the murky green delights of brighton/hove sea.... those fucking stones, even the thought of them is makiing me even more determined to make the most of the sand i have here....

I been for a dip every day for last 4 now, but i think this last savagely hot spell is drawing to a close. i think today MAxxxed out at around or just above 40CCCCCCCCC...

i relate to what youre saying DOc, about the vicious bastards who are higher than us on the food chain as soon as we enter the water. It seems that not a week goes by here, without a story of some surfers head been chomped or a surfers board bit in half or yachts been attacked by 3 metre monsters...
when i was younger, and travelling egypt, india, thaliand and some other [places with amazing coral and fish life and ocean, i did so much snorkelling, swam so far out; i had no fear.i loved those times, they were special, its truly another world below.. but, after visiting vic hislops shark show in hervey bay, QL, i became scared. and maybe ive never really recovered. tho, thats the advantage of the UK, the water is so cold, we dont get many man eating sharks near to the shores, some basking sharks, and the odd reports of something a touch more exotic, but in my lifetime nobody has ben chomped whils swimming in british waters, so this gives me more confidenmce to swim further out in brighton area sea...

Just whatever you do...swim with a buddy.
I almost drowned one day because I dived in the water head first, and it felt so good that I forgot to come up for air.
Maybe that's just me.

btw animal i didnt think that basking sharks came that close to shore they are extremely strange looking. sharks are something that have interested me since i was a young boy. ive read countless books and i use to want to go into the marine biology field. most sharks that live in colder waters tend to be strange looking and seen less than warm water sharks.

basking sharks dont come in too far mate, they plankton eaters with big filters for mouths, tho have been known to come closer in shore and maybe even i remeber seeing report of one swallowing a diver by mistake./ i say by mistake cos perhaps this joked the poor shark..

i did read some stuff about whites been predicted to reach british shores due to climate change and fish stocks.....

i hope not

thats the thing about white they show up anywhere. maybe they're following you. either way shouldnt be as bad as Aus they have the worlds largest pop of them.

i remember hearing storie about certain seal mating grounds where you have to watch your step when jumping off the boat because you might land in a sharks mouth.

I cant go to far out in the sea. Im too scared. Anything you just come and eat me and I cant do nothing about it cause Im in their enviroment.

i've never gone swimming while im stoned, but just the thought of wut it would be like to blitzed in the water makes me really wanna try. but i hate the cold... so it'll have to wait till the summer lol

I've got swimming while drunk (great fun) but never baked, sounds pretty enjoyable.

during my sr retreat for school i drank some rum and had a good buzz going then on the hour long bus trip to get back i dropped 2 acid stamps. when we got back to my friends house i smoked a few bowls to myself then jumped in his lake. it was the most spiritual swim. i swam the to the end of the lake and back(almost a mile) and i felt as if my spirit went through the water and transcended everything physical. my body was no longer part of my being and all i saw was the dark water and the bubbles swirling past my face, a very intense experience to say the least.
