ive completed the whole in my vodka bottle for the slide and im just wondering what the best sealant is that will hold the slide up at the angle i would like and also that will securely harden around the slide so it does not slide up and down in the hole. also air tight. ive heard caulk does the job?

Yes, caulk should do it. Just use CLEAR caulk, wipe the excess off (if you try to cut it later you could mess up the seal) and put it in a place where it won't be moved for about a day. Also, try taping the slide so it doesn't move while drying. Another thing you can do is go to the hardware store and buy an O-ring that will fit around the slide and will fill the hole in the bottle, then wedge it in.
And yeah, how did you get a hole in the glass? I have some beautiful bottles that I don't want to ruin by accidentally cracking them.

i just bought a glass drill bit from lowes for like 10-12 bucks i think and went to work. i practiced on other glass first and found out that you definently need to add lubricant. i had my friend pour water over the area the whole time to keep it from overheating. and yeah, i did use clear caulk and taped the slide up to keep it from repositioning itself. and the slide already had an o-ring with it. hopefully it dries soon!

I tried to make a steam roller out of a glass crush bottle once, I tried like 3 times broke it every time. Wasnt using a glass bit tho, and didnt use any lube.
