Me and Dana climbed a mountain today!

I'm trying to adjust to not smoking weed [
edit: all the time] since I live with cops now. So today we went hiking, and it felt amazing. I haven't climbed any mountains or hiked since 2003, so it kind of kicked my ass but I feel great. It took us two hours to make the summit and an hour to climb back down. Dana could have done it much faster without me, I'm sure.
It was really beautiful and refreshing. I'm totally going to get back into hiking and snowshoeing. It's hard work, but well worth it. Woohoo for natural endorphins!
Yeah see that little bump? We summited that.

Niiiiiice, I went hiking with my grandad once when I was in Austria, shit nearly killed me. Why dont you just smoke without letting them know?

Well, they just went to bed, so I did. But the sister is still up. And she's one of those types to be suspicious and smell your breath and call you on it. I'm more wary of her than her parents, who are so tatered every night off alcohol that they pass out early and sleep deep. Gettin stoned here rules tho, coz I can just go into my room, where I'm online AND have extensive cable and dvd action.
Back to the topic, we're totally gonna go climbing some more - as soon as the day after tomorrow! Apparently Dana knows of some rad waterfalls. I wish I would have had some weed when we were up there today. Nature is awesome.

Me neither, since Dan left.

I still can't help but be taken by the moment I'm somewhere high, imagining the way he felt before he leapt. It's a powerful feeling, but not unpleasant... it's so beautiful up there.
At some point we're going to summit that bigger mountain.

there are very few mountains in my state so hiking it's pretty difficult. we have heaps of cool gorges right up north which is pretty cool.
at the end of next year my lady and I are going to attempt the bibbulman track which is a hiking trail that extends from the town of Albany in the sates south to Perth, a good 1000km walk! all along the track there are little open air shelters to you don't have to sleep on the ground in the mud and bugs. you take the bare minimum of equipment and get food drops at the various towns you encounter
