Self reflection is the most important step on the road to enlightenment. Only throught looking at yourself through someone elses eyes with complete honesty can you see whether you are the person you would like to be. You may do things that you think are normal, but look at them from another angle and your viewpoint may change.

So at some point, everyone, sit down, skin up, and think about how other people view you, if you like what you see, give yourself a pat on the back, if you don't, then you give yourself the chance for self improvement.

In no way am i saying you should change who you are for other people, just to think for a moment that if you met a guy who was just like you, what would you think of him? (or her)

Yeah it is a very good point. When you're gone the only memories of you will belong to other people. Not a bad thing to realise what these might be.

I'd rather be remembered as an asshole than being loved and forgotten.

But I think that speaks for itself

I spend most of the day at work doing that, its starting to piss me off

I disagree, self-reflection is never correct (the way others look at you). Cause everyone will think different things about you, depending on how well they know you, what's their mood etc.

True to an extent, but you can roughly gauge what most people would think of you and the things you do, there are somethings that would be obvious to everyone, nobody's perfect.

What i really meant was what do you think of yourself, think of the qualities you look for in a person and see if you have them, or things that piss you off that you do yourself, a general self evaluation. Like i said, if you met you, what would think about yourself?

haha im have to say im happywith my overall self. but id have to say im a heaping pile of wasted potential. both my parents were incredibly bright indviduals. my sister is just so smart its unreal. she got perfect scores on her sats and acts 1600 and 36 and is getting straight a's at harvard right now.
i have the same mental capacity as her but i simply dont care about school. but other than the wasted potential im happy with myself

If you prolly met me, you would think this kid is like nothing I've seen. I dont know anybody whos like me. I dont give a fuck wat people think, I never think about anything before I say it, that gets me in trouble a lot. But I wouldnt change it ever.
