mixing weed and medications

not sure where this thread should go. oh well.
I've had a cold recently and last night around 10:00 I took 2 Nyquil pills to help with the congestion. A few hours later I smoked a bowl before bed (without even thinking about it...its just my nightly routine). Anyway, after I'd been in bed a few minutes I started getting some seriously fucked up dizzy spells and I got totally nauseous. I eventually fell asleep, but then woke up later in the night still dizzy and I even ended up throwing up.
I'm wondering if it's from mixing weed with medication? Anyone know anything about this? Anyone had any similar experiences?

that can happen with certain medications. or else it could just be your sickness. pot never upsets my stomach it actually calms it and reduces nauseousness

good quality skunk, when smoked after heavy drinking used to make me the illest i have ever been, my face became so drINED OF BLOOD that i looke dlike ghost, with devilish green eyes.,
only time i mixed intentioanly with medication was when i had these great codeine pills after i tore the three ligaments in a kind co dependent triangle on the ball of my ankle. codeine went well with skunk.
i would be careful tho, i ony ever felt nasueos from weed if i smoked way 2 much in one go, after not easting ro sleeping for a couple days, or after heavy severe ignorant drinking..
but yeh alwsy best to read the labels to make sure you know what y putting in you, shame someon ehasnt made a databse somewhere of sagfe drugs to take with weed, tho i guess t would only be guide as evryone bodies and minds are different

Whenver I used to smoke while on all sorts of pills i would get majorly messed up.

Oh tell me about it. I will never drink a heavy amount and smoke again

yeah i guess for now I'm just gonna quit weed for a few days until this cold passes by.

Dude seriously if you feel ill and are takin meds stay off. If you got a headache or shit and take paracetamol then fine.
Bein ill and smokin without meds never gives me a happy or mellow high it just drowses me out with or without meds. I get so tired.
Give up for a few days and then at the weekend end have a masher of a sesh and make up for it no harm done.
