Sweet Reunion October 28th

Well, summer is over. And so is my Canadian vacation. Due to lack of work for illegal immigrants, as well as an invalid work permit that expires October 5th and the need to finish my degree in the States, I will be packing up and leaving my happy home in a week.

We've known it was coming all summer. We have so enjoyed ourselves! Oh, my lord. It's been 5 months already! If you can enjoy someone's company every day for that long, you don't want to be separated. But stupid governments force you apart. We were only born 6 hours from eachother, damnit. It's not fair.

I have my cats here. And my heart is here too. I haven't been this happy in a long time. I always enjoyed Sammy's company on Weedguru and MSN, but actually meeting him and falling into this crazy thing has changed my life so much.

I won't get to smoke any of the 7 foot tall plants that are midway through flowering. And we still don't have any friends, so Sammy will probably get even better at that stupid game. Also, I'm leaving him here in this country home with no car, and no job, and subzero temperatures soon to come. Haha.

This story isn't over, though, not by a longshot. I'll tell you people in all honesty that I want to have that guy's babies. So I hope we can stay together for a long time coz we want to keep partying first. International border or no, I'm coming back here for good next March at the latest. I can work for the landscaping company again next summer, legal or no, and we are in the process of applying for my permanent residency, which takes 6 months to a year.

I'm going back to Seattle. It's a 14 hour drive, but I have friends in the city of Spokane which is just south of the border. So I'm going to stop there and at my mom's place, making the drive from northern BC to Spokane the longest part.

Then, get this. My plan is to move in with a retired cop and the daughter of the chief of police of Seattle (in the '70's).

If you wonder why I would do such a thing, I have some crazy reasons.

1. Free rent and food. Big room with internet connection. Free parking.
2. Liquor cabinet stocked like a bar
3. How else would I get back at my ex boyfriend for moving in with my parents? Move in with his parents! lolol

Damn Caro, your summer would surely make a great movie.

Kinda like that song by Green Day "Wake me up, when september ends"

edit-btw, when i started reading your post a song by Garth Brooks called "The Dance" came on. Kinda weird

if you have heard the song you know how its kinda similar to Caro's and Sammy's situation.

No, not really. I mean, we're all set up here with a log cabin, *indoor garden*, bills, and cats. I don't think he'd want to leave all that, to live with me in some cops' home.

Plus I don't think the cops would appreciate me fucking their son's ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend in their house, which is what would happen if he lived with me. I wonder if my ex and that stupid bitch have ever done it in my parent's house? Probably! They were probably like "ooh Caro's room, let's fuck in there". Coz I know when they came and visited us I was like, "They're on the other side of the wall. Let's fuck right now"!

It's all very complicated.

damn caro. that sucks. im sorry. but hey at least you can go back for summer, or maybe even better they will approve your permanent residency so you can stay as long as you like. that would be pretty cool. i know it will be really hard for you, but just think you get to go back, and you will probably be able to stay there permenately. that would be really cool. just try and look at the positives

with lots of visits in between :P

if things were easier I'd move with her to Seattle in a heartbeat, unfortunately we've established ourselves here quite well in terms of paying bills every month, an internet connection, cheap rent and landlords that don't give a shit.

I have to stay here and work to pay for all this stuff while Caro is in school, it's gonna suck, $700 a month for rent and all the utilities and food is what i estimate, where now its only about $400. Im kind of hoping i can just work for a month, sell my first harvest, then hibernate all winter in my cozy little log cabin killing brain cells. Perpetual Growing for the win!

Separation time is always the hardest, but keep in touch, smoke a lotta weed and everything will go just like a charm. I've become an expert at trying to make long relashionships last. Wish you the best, and less painful separation.

Congrats you guys feeling such a connection like that cherish it. My god its great. Somebody who finally understand the way I felt everyday waking up to the most beautiful person in the world in each others eyes and not being able to the next minute. Its hard Caro but it gets easier when you realise that the bond of trust you have is strong enough to take such a long termed beating as staying apart can give.

Good luck and I wish you both every bit of happiness this world can give you because god knows you deserve it.

i dont think its always abad thing to have some time away from your partner. gives you a chance to really fel every ounze of your love, cos the longer they away the more you see to miss them. absence makes the heart grow fonder, or go yonder, as the old saying goes. i think thats very true. you two obviously have formed something pretty special and seem to have to wicked plan to head for which puts you straight back 2getha, so good luck..
