This thread is a bit late, I was testing myself to see if I actually could. Now I know I can.

I quit weed, about 2 weeks ago. Haven't been stoned since, I feel quit proud of myself in a way.

The reasons I quit is because its fucking up my life..Like really badly. I'm having a hell of a lot more arguements with my gf who I love so much and I couldn't imagine ever being without her, so I don't wanna argue any longer incase it fucks things up.
Another reason is school. In school I'm lethargic and apathetic all I do is sit there and stare into space or sleep, it can't go on any longer because I'm gonna be screwed for working and making a living in the long run.

So this is just me lettin ya'll know I ain't gonna be smokin weed again, not even one puff of a joint..

Lol, nah man, i didn't mean to give that impression. It jus proves to me that you don't have to smoke it to be part of the marijuana culture.

As of now I'm a non smoking member, but thats only temporarily I just felt like I needed a break to save some money and just to lower my tolerance agian. I'm going on three weeks now and I do feel good. I just bought a ticket to Lake Tahoe the other day for this weekend. I was bored and started looking on the internet for airfares and ran across one for cheap from Fargo to Reno so this weekend I'm off to Lake Tahoe to go chill out. That is something I would not have been able to do if I was smoking bud because I wouldn't have the money for it.

So it's kinda nice being able to do some stuff that I wasn't able to do before.

If I had held out two more days I would be here a non-smoker. BUT I didnt. Decided it is to early in the game for me to stop.

So that's why Toonces isn't chatting with me on MSN anymore.

I thought it was the fact that he's 4 hours ahead of me and i don't pop online until midnightish.

Quit if you want, but keep in mind that unless you and you're girlfriends arguments were solely about marijuana, nothings going to be solved.

Then theres school, you really should decide if you slacked off in your schoolwork because you enjoy smoking bud or because you're irresponsible.

I've said before, that a girl who wants you to give up something you love, can't really love you.

And yeah, i fucked up my school-life because I'm irresponsible, weed just made my failure more fun.
