Hey, im new to this and am curious on what my potential yield will be budwise =]

The plan is..... Planting 10 seeds outdoors in my "garden" and assuming all goes well, and factoring in the male/female plants, just how much bud is possible?

After reading some guides to growing bud, I still have a couple questions.

While growing in an outdoor environment how do I make sure bugs dont get at my plants, without the use of insectacides and so forth.

Should I bother fertalizing the soil when the ground is very rich in worms and the area I cleared away has been covered in a layer of dead grass for many years?

Should I use planters after the seeds germinate or just put them directly into the ground?

And finally I was just curious about pruning, is it worth the effort?

Well, to answer the question 'how much bud possible' , that would be very difficult to determine just like this. Could be from nothing (you can screw up a plant and it never buds at all) to a pound or more if you're damn good, and havr the right strain.

For the bugs in the outdoor situatio there is not much u can do without insecticides. Sometimes, though you can get lucky and you have no bug problems at all, so need need for the insecticedes.

Even with the best soil, you still need fertz to promote the maximum growth , yield and potency. Though, if ya doing it just for fun , i suppose you don't really need fertz, though you'll get way less.

After the seeds germinate the ideal situation is to grow them indoors a bit before planting. Due to the less harsh conditions indoors, the liitle tiny weak immature plant has a better chance of survival. The bigger the plant is whe ya plant is outdoors the better. Rather than concentrating all its effots on growing / surving the elements, it concentrates on fromign THC, which is what we all like to smoke...... Never planted just seeds otta doors myself.

Pruning I would say is worht the effort if you know what you;re doing. If you're an amatuer you will probably end up killing the plant or stunting it's yield. If ay know what ya doing, then pruning can be great , you can get a much thicker , solid plant, with more brnaches, hence bud growing opportunites. And then you can conserve the clippings, and grow some more of that damn good strain..
