Help me grow

i live in canada and ive been trying to start off a plant outdoors while the weather is still good. after im going to move it into my closet. The good thing is that the closet im using is found inside another closet so my parents would never even find out. The thing is i dont have an electrical outlet inside the "hidden"closet. Does anybody have any ideas for another source other than doing electrical work. Another question is what type of lights should i use? A friend told me a normal 40 watt would work fine. Lastly should i put a fan in it? and what can i use to remove the smell. Im hoping to grow the cheap way so if anybody has any ideas for me, id appreciate it.

You can't start an outdoor grow this time of the year in Canada. There are not enough daylight hours left

im not starting it now. i have been doing it during the summer. im going to move it inside soon.

When did you plant it then? You can't just move the plant around in and out as you wish..you have the vegetative and flowering states and times to think about
