Anyone else seen them? The ones with the sun coming over the mountains with You Can't Go Home Again by Shadow playing and the neon lights. That is one f0rkin cool bit of advertising, especially that longer one with those people running around the blue neon tunnels etc. So trippy even when straight :spliff:

Thankfully they don't torture us here to much with those ads. We have these dorky ones where a celebrity says like 'This is your brain, this is your brain on drugs' and shows a fried egg!! No that I think more, I suppose there are a few more of those adds than i think. Like the ones showing a kid being lectured about drugs by his parents, then the kid winds up in the parc being offred a joint. The kids smiles and say's ' no ,thanks' and everything is hunky dory. But I don't find them too annoying. They have similar ones for alcohol and tobacco too. THey're coming down harder on tobacco here at he moment. cigarrete companies are now oblidged to print these gross pics and warnings on like 1/4 of the pac. THey show like rotten teeth and gums (close up), cancerous lungs. etc. Supposed to deter us. Ha! Like I don't care. They make us pay these huge taxes on cigs too. Trying to make people quit cause they can't afford it. A pack here costs almost $8 Canadian. And smoking cigs is like banned every where now. Some restaurants its totally banned, shopping malls, all stores, grocery, all work places indoors not even a smoking room). Alll schools from elementary to Univ., all public facilites, unless otherwise speciffied. They were even talkking about banning it in prisons, but havn't gon ethat far yet. ( Just imagine the havoc inmates would create if cigs were banned-!!!!! Crazy ass shit if you ask me, why the hell can't people just live in harmony?

yeah.. shit. i can remember in fifth year or something being so disgusted cos they put up posters all over the classroom of close ups of smoke damaged lungs, mouth, face (with special cut-away things to see the insides!yay!) etc. also they had these cigarettes that showed all the chemicals and stuff adn theysaid it contained stuff like nail polish remover and aerosol shit etc. i remember that the whole year i never looked at them cos they were so gross. it was really stupid
