Hell mother-fuckin' yeah.
All I've been listenin' to over the past week or so is just Pantera and tonight I decided to make a post on how amazing they were.
Maan don't you just fucking love Dimebag for every single riff that he ever created? And what about Phillip Anselmo for his amazing voice and ability to scream and shout so awesomley powerful lyrics that it would make your ears bleeed with joy.
Christ sorry if I'm blabbering on a bit, I'm fucking drunk as fuck...Just downed 2 shots of tequila and had one too many Tennants (sp?) Special Ale stuff...Tastes amazing.
Anyway, yeah I'm off to read some other threads and stop makin a tit of myself on this one.

Big Pantera fan here!!! Been listening to them since Vulgar Display of Power came out. I remember buying The Great Southern Trendkill when it first came out (in 1996 I believe) and hating it so much that I didn't listen to it again until about 5 months ago.
Now GST is one of my favourite Pantera albums. Suicide Note pt. 1 shows a deeper, darker side of Pantera, then the song Suicide Note pt. 2 just busts in like a knife shattering your spine!!
I also really dig Drag the Waters and Floods from that album. Wow...the solo in Floods is enough to bring tears to a grown man's eyes.
Two big thumbs up, and smoking a joint for Pantera and Pantera fans all over the world tonight.
I got the chance to see Slayer with Damageplan in June 2004. I had no clue who Damageplan were, let alone what they sounded like. When I found out it was Dimebag and Vinne Paul in the band, I was sold!! Their performance was okay, not the most amazing band...however, seeing Dime live, in the flesh, and working the fucking crowd...was something I'll never forget. And when they did their cover of Walk...holy shit, the entire center went apeshit! I have been blessed with being able to Dime live.
