I went to S.F. today and then went to china town. Me and my friend went. He got some knives and I got a foot long cigar with no id and im only 14. Well we got a few cirecrackers there. So we come home. and light of the little ones. Then my firend is like I have big ones from last 4th of july.

So we go get the big one and go outside. Its says its a sparkler ones that dont explode. So I light it in my hand. BAD IDEA. It sparkled for like 5 seconds then exploded in my hand and now I have a perfect cirlce bruise because the plastic from the bottom shot at my hand. If I was holding it from the side It would have town my hand apart.

haha first thing i thought when i read the title i thought fireworks. but your lucky man most people lose a finger or two when that happens. jerry garcia blew off a finger that way

Yes fireworks can be quite dangerous. always light a tester one first and get the fuck away from it.

My buddy jose did that. Lit a black cat in his hand and the wick was short and it blew up before he could throw it. Blew off his thumb, Index finger, And half his middle finger.

Same exact shit happened to this kid Keith I know. There's a Black Cat store near by, basically that's all they sell is black cats and a couple other types of firecrackers, Keith lit one up when we got back, thought it went out, and tried to light it again when baboom. Lost 2 fingers, and now he's got an extreme phobia of fireworks. I understand ya mistake though if it said it was a sparkler, cause your actually sposed to hold those.

lol we have crazy fireworks, like 72 shot repeaters. my mate burnt himself whiel trying to light areoplane fuel and had to goto hospital as it exploded, dotn playw ith fire!

Fireworks are illegal in jersey but thats ok, we smuggle them in while on ski trips in ny, or pennsylvania. We got this one with like 50 wicks...and my dad lit it after a few too many beers and his shirt lit on fire a little bit, but it was near our pool so he jumped in, haha, needless to say he didn't light anymore that night, so my brother and i lit a bunch of bottle rockets, but then he shot one at my ass when i was digging through the cooler looking for a beer.

HAHAHA, about 9 years ago i was at my aunt's house in KY. we had bought fireworks the night before and we had some BlackCat firecrackers. Well i lit one as i was holding it (planning on throwing it) but it exploded before i had the chance to throw it and resulted in a fucking blister the size of California on 2 of my fingers.

BUT, does anyone participate in fireword wars??? where you shoot fireworks at each other, or am i like dumb as fuck for doing this? either way its al good.
