Put a bit off of the end of a single rizla skin in your gob.
What the hell does this mean? lol.
It's like that one Austin Powers movie.... you know the scene where they speak in English English - slang so different from American, that we needed subtitles to understand? That was awesome. Anyway, Tom made the observation that if he typed how he talked, I probably wouldn't be able to understand what he says.

It comes through on the boards quite a bit, with all our British posters, and I am always reminded of that scene. I was quite stoned and very entertained! As a student of English I just find it so fascinating to hear or see my native language being used and not understand it, with so many of the words replaced by regional dialect.

I'm asking you guys - I'm sorry I'm not sure exactly what part of England produces this coded effect, please educate me - into having a conversation here that represents what I'm talking about.

If by "help" you mean enabling me to spy on the slang speaking English man in his native conversational environment, then yes, please....

:twisted:

I just want you to talk how you would with your mates, bonus if a West Coast American girl can't understand it!

Doh! Fallen at the first hurdle sweetheart. ''avn't gott nee smoke'' is a geordie thing, guvna is cockney. The two wouldnt be heard together. Keep trying though :wink:

Cockney rhymin slang is so difficult to understand. The only ones i can think of are:

Quarter = farmers daughter

mate = china plate

meeting - ronan keating.

So a typical cockney rhyming slang deal could go.

'You all right me old china plate? You got a farmers daughter? Where are we gunna be ronan keating?' So on and so forth, well done for tryin to understand us though caro.lol.
