Just saw this one last night, stoned as hell and guys its a freaking hardcore bloodfest/action/funny/stoned movie omg, keep in mind it's actualy a japanese MANGA film so it's drawn in the cartoony style we all know (no not the porno pics)
here's some more about it, i strongly recommend this to anyone that feels like having a good movie to watch high with friends
Plot summary:
Kaneda is a bike gang leader whose close friend Tetsuo gets involved in a government secret project knowned as Akira. On his way to save Tetsuo, Kaneda runs into a group of anti-government activist, greedy politicians, irresponsible scientists and a powerful military leader. The confrontation sparks off Tetsuo's supernatural power leading to bloody death, a coup attempt and the final battle in Tokyo Olympiad where Akira's secrets were buried 30 years ago.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

what's there to get? Akira is pure power, in 1988 their experiment went awoll and Akira (at that time still alive) blew tokyo up, resulting in WWIII
