Old seeds

So this afternoon I found my dad's old scale set. It's a balance scale with the little button weights that you weigh with.
Inside I found about a dozen seeds. Now they're about 5 years old because he quit smoking about that time ago.
Just wondering if they'll still sprout or not...

He probably got them in his weed, doubt they'd grow.

They were in a little plastic blue thing about half an inch tall and an inch wide. The seeds were wrapped in the foil that they put inside cigarette packs. If it helps any

Not questioning your dad, but if your dad quit 5 years ago, why the hell does he still have seeds. He should have gotten rid of them shortly after he quit.

A good buddy of mine gave me his prime seeds, About 500 of them hes collected over the last 15 years. Most of them have still sprouted, So id give it a try. The wet towel method seems to work wonders.
