last night I took 1 eighth of mushrooms and had the worst trip of my life. I will post sabout it later. I need to figue this oout haha

was it a bad trip as in scary or bad as in not worth the money, anyways im thinking it was the first one.

hey sorry I haven't gotten back tp you guys but everytime I go on the internet my comp freezes and I have to do this from my dads phone thing sorry that there's no punctuation cuz I can't figure it out. I can just do periods. anyways these were extremely extremely potent mushrooms. the first 2 or so hours were inreedibly amazing and cool but then I threw up and evertime I threw up it was like I was throwing myself up and I was being reborn out of my body which was cool but a little freaky. also I wasn't sure if I was actually throwiing up cuz I would throw myself up I would go back into my body. this kept happening and led me into the bad trip because I started noticing repitition and this freaked me out. at this point time was pointless and irrelevant and I began to think I was going to be stuck like that. in a never ending thought loop of repitition. it was so incredibly possible to me that I didn't even consider that it was just a drug. I went into the bathroom and looked into the mirror and saw my face morph and wiggle like jello. next I went down stairs to take my mind off the trip and started reding some magazine. the only problem with this was that one article said... was he poisoned? which isn't the BEST thing to read on shrooms. it also didn't help that the words were twisting and moving on the page. finally around 5 in the morning it started to wear off and I was coming down. now that I look back it wasn't the worst trip. there were some pretty cool and introspective parts and I have a new appreciation for...sanity? needless to say Im not tripping on shrooms at least for awhile and when I do its definitley not going to be as high a dosage. respect the mushroom and be careful or you'll regret it. peace love unity respect

edit- tokin42, don't let it bother you too much you just need to be a bit more cautious in the future. I've made the same mistake by overdoing it. That magazine thing is like something out of a movie

"was he poisoned?" that must've been horrible at the time though. Were you by yourself when you tripped?

yes i was by myself. a lot of people say that thats a bad thing, but i would have a trip sitter if i thought my friends would know what to do or be able to handle seeing someone in that situation (it can be pretty disturbing). i was thinking the whole time "thank god no one saw me like this". if i knew someone that was that open minded and didnt mind it, trust me, i would have a trip sitter. but for now its by myself.

I like tripping alone, I get uncomfortable even around my best friends sometimes.

as in is what Tokin went thru pretty common as far as visuals and other such effects go?
i can lecture at length on weed..but dont know diddly squat about mushrooms. PLanning to do it this New Year's Eve....but not if its going to fuck my trip like that....

In my experience mushrooms produce slight visuals. As in you don't see stuff that isn't there, but stuff you can see takes a different form (morphs, appears to change colour etc). Also you can see kaleidoscopes(sp?) and other random images when you close you're eyes, which are pretty cool. The feeling is hard to describe, but this is the much stronger than the visuals. Its like smoking the best weed in the world multiplied by ten, the music sounds great, you devise interesting theories, you can think about things in perspective and you feel at peace with yourself. I bet other people can describe it better though. It all depends on which shrooms you take. Its similar to weed, different weed=a different high. Imo, if you enjoy weed and have a strong mind you'll enjoy it.

http://www.magic-mushrooms.net/paddos/5 ... rpose.html should explain the set and setting. Abide by this carefully to help avoid a bad trip! You can eat them raw but most people don't like the taste. I eat them raw but I don't think the taste is too bad. You can consume them in other ways but its best to chek with people who have tried such techniques because you could ruin the shrooms easily.

Booze won't stop the shrooms working but they may take the psychedlic edge and just make you fucked in general. If you're trying shrooms to get wasted then drink all you want but if you want a "real" trip its best to stay away from booze. Also if you get sick because of drink I can't imagine you'd enjot the trip. I'm not sure about that so its best to research, but that's what my experience has taught me.
