hydro / chronic

Hey i'm not really new to smoking weed, but i am confused about one thing. I always thought hydro, and chronic were two different kinds of weed, but yesterday my brother said they were the same thing. Are they different or the same?

no they are different, very different
chronic i BELIVE is really really really good shit (if i am wrong, i beg you to correct me)
hydro on the other hand is weed that is grown in water, not soil, chronic is grown in soil.

the confusion here is that different regions use different slang to define drugs. thats why i think there should be an IDVS (international drug vocabulary system). but round here chron just means any old pot and hydro is uhm, hydro.

lol chronic is a word for weed genuises its like pot, trees, chronic... ect .. hydro is jus a type of chronic so ur bro is right dey are de same

chronic is used for Good weed, weed in general and people who smoke hella weed but arent pot heads or hippies.. there chronics.. dunno
differant places use differant slang.

haha im such a chronic, constantly called a chronic by teachers, parents, friends, and roomates. my family has come to accept the fact that where i come, smoke follows
