That is going to be some killer bud. I just finished drying mine; curing now. It looks like I'll have about an ounce. The "grower's snacks" I've had once or twice have blown me away, so I can't wait for a full cure.

I'll be growing some White Widow in a few days and this one will hopefully go without hiccups, so I'll have a much larger yield. How's your ScroG working out? I see one of them.

I'm still stretching out her arms on the ScroG but she's filling in nicely, so even though her sisters are ready to hit flower I'm keeping the ScroG (Loni=AK48) vegging a little longer. Here's a couple shots of Loni. Did you get the WW beans from Nirvana? I saw they had a 10 femmed Snow White beans this past weekend for like $40. Just wish they'd go down a little on S&H. The Ak's are really starting to punch a very distinct odor now. I guess it's been building slowly so you really don't notice it until your away for awhile. I'll tell ya though, I took one hit last night from Lisa and ate half a box of Crunch Berries. So anyone with a eating disorder would LOVE this strain!!! Kills the pain and puts ya to bed as well. Very impressive however their yield isn't matching the RC's!!! Perhaps that's because they're more Indy then Sat? Kinda curious.

RCs? If you mean the average yield on most seed sites, that's not too reliable. Indicas tend to yield more than sativas.

RC's=Raspberry Cough (stronger on the Sat side, but all my seeds came from Nirvana with these two strains.) 'Course, ya gotta consider I'm the newest newb here so.... lmao!!! Oh, btw I'm canning all my Atami neuts for Foxfarm. Tired of following their directions and watching my leafs turn yellow!

I can vouch for Technaflora, it produces excellent results. Don't forget to flush your soil.

Had to tear down Lisa, she just lost too many leafs and was really becoming difficult.

They're supposed to lose leaves near the end of flower. This is a result of low N (flower nutes cut back on N). Looks like damn good bud though, what are the trichs at in terms of colour?

Unfortunately they're all clear JTP.... So I'm going to follow the dry to the "T", and dry in a cool, dark place for a week then jar 'em for another for a week to cure. I'm guessin' these pics represent about 2oz's but her odor is already changing... When I finish the cure then I'll know for sure. I appreciate the nutes info, and that's the same conclusion I came up with as well... But when I shoot 'em with a blast of veg+flower they don't seem to appreciate it very much, so I'm not going to do this dance on the 2nd gen, and they're already (in 9th day of flower) practically as tall as the 1st gen (go to an earlier pic to see them) and other then the occasional yellow of 1 or 2 leafs on the lower extremities, they are doing extremely well (same strains). Killed me to tear Lisa down but I thought I'd just be cutting my losses at that point. Now, as for pruning the rest off, my idea is to go through the dry/cure cycle then cut off the rest. Sound like a normal way to do it or should I have been a bit more tidy first? Just curious... :thax Ikku

Yeah, next time just let the leaves fall off as they should. This happens when all the nutes in that leaf are used up, going from the leaves towards bud/trichome production. Make sure your plants get plenty of N during veg.

When you say "pruning the rest off," do you mean leaves or plants? I'd hold off on the other plants until they're ready.

Another method of curing to consider is drying as normal until the stems have a nice popping sound when you go to snap them (3-5 days), then jarring and burping daily for 3-4 weeks. The longer the cure, the more inactive THCA is decarbed into the highly psychoactive THC. The slower the cure, the more thoroughly the chlorophyll is removed (smoother smoke). If you let it dry too long before jarring, it dries too fast (lot of remaining chlorophyll) and there won't be enough moisture to bring back the wonderful smell and flavour.

No! God no!!! On the "buds" themselves from Lisa. I killed Lisa rather then a regrow due to her yield and ability to handle the same treatment/stress as her sisters. The remaining girls from the first grow are leafy enough to support their full flower (that's the reason I tore Lisa down, she was down to like a dozen or so leafs and stood about 4'.) We're in the 8th week now of flower.

In regards to the nutes, the Atami Veg is 2.2.6. where as the Foxfarm Veg is 6.4.4. I don't understand that formula method but that's what their new line called "Growth C" is formulated to, which is why I wasn't so impressed with Atami and intend to can the rest. First grow and all means you begin not really knowing a great deal, but progress into at the very least: common knowledge. Lol
