Unplugged in New York-Nirvana
Excellent album. Also system of a down's 'system of a down' album is really good. Needless to say ANYTHING that pink floyd has ever produced is worth a listen.

To those who said the likes of Bowie, The Velvet Underground The Doors and Pink Floyd- well done. To those who said korn, system of a down, blink 182 and kanye west- get your ears tested. For those of you who said Guns n Roses-please die now.
My personal favourites would have to include The Stone Roses debut self-titled album-a timeless classic with songs that never get boring. The only arguably bad track being the 4th track, Dont Stop, which is played backwards and can be kinda annoying especially when baked.Otherwise Ian Brown's airy vocals, John Squire's peircing guitar, Mani's fluid bass and Reni's pounding drums send me to heaven every time i'm high.I'd like to meet the person who doesnt love the slow-burning intro of "I Wanna Be Adored" or bouncing along to "She Bangs The Drums" or "Waterfall" and the sheer genius of "Sugar Spun Sister" and "I Am The Resurrection". A truly legendary band that could've conquered the world but blew it- ah well.
Also a mention goes to the Happy Mondays- Pills n Thrills and Bellyaches. Just a very fun album which i would encourage people to keep listening to despite Shaun Ryder's less than angelic vocals. But you'll be singing along after a few listens.Best time to listen to it is during the afternoon just when the suns starting to go down with a few beers and a fat spliff.

The Fugees- The Score
This album is insane, crazy hooks, beats etc. Lauryn can do it all sing, rap. Plus Wyclef is always there to make that song jus a lickle better. Nice cd.

1. The Mars Volta - Deloused in the Commatorium:
Their first album, quite action packed, not very relaxing, but still
awesome to listen to. They sound literally amazing.
2. The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
The second album. This one is also filled with action, but there are
lots of spaces between the action, filled with crazy sounds. They
incorporate new instruments. It feels like... I guess after their first
album they took time off and became gods, and when they returned
they had mass amounts of power and now they can sit on top of music
itself and make comments about anything. I dunno

an album that comes to mind right away for me is Paranoid by Black Sabbath.
but like almost everyone here says, theres so many good albums to name just one. naming artists that have made albums which sound good throughout the whole way would be easier. sabbath, pink floyd, jimi hendrix, kyuss, metallica, queens of the stone age, tool, eagles of death metal, monster magnet, people under the stairs, quasimoto, pharcyde...theres some. plus so many similar bands that i havent even listened to completely yet.

"Grace" by Jeff Buckley. Has been since '98. Love it, couldn't live without it.

Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon is my alltime favourite, although there is so much good music, especially when stoned
