and yes, marley had cancer in one of his toes i do believe, they had the cancer removed, or so they thought. after a while it spread further and they could have had the entire thing removed before it spread far enough to kill him by amputating his leg. which he didn't do as he loved soccer (or football, whichever way you wanna say it) i think it was his left leg too, although im not 100% sure on that, only 50%
