thought id post the sketch i was thinking about pasting up


first time trying anything weedguru related. and i suck at all lettering. but i pushed through and im really satisfied how GURU and the first pot leaf turned out. i will probably trace them onto the final copy from this sketch. i will defiantly redraw the rest.
i dont think i could paste this copy up because i used watercolors and the wheat paste would ruin the design. but since ive never wheat pasted before i have no clue what works best.

if you have any experience or tips id love to hear them!

well a few quick basics, the thinner the paper the better, if you paint your original image go find a photocopier and print out copies to use from that, when you mix your wheatpaste add a bit of sugar to the mix so its got more tack- i used cornflour instead of wheat flour cos it is dries more clear and adheres better to stuff- you can use wall paper paste but it isnt as environmentally friendly, defo get them surgical gloves so you dont get any on your hands cos once you've pasted the wall in preparation for your posters you dont wanna get mucky finger prints all over them when you slap em up- if possible have a mate come with you cos you want to be as quick as possible to avoid any legal interventions. If you are not bothered about the environment too much, and you want your poster to stay put for a long while once you have got it up on the wall spray over it and seal it with spray varnish.
good luck with it and hope it all turns out well make sure you get plenty of pics to show us (sometimes its better to go back to the scene of the 'crime' at a later date to photo them though cos you dont wanna hang around after you have just put em up when you have all the evidence linking you directly to them ready for the pigs to find)!!!

Ahem, speaking of which.....last chance to let me know if you want stickers; I'm not going to order a ton of these things and have them laying around my apartment all day. I'm going to get some for myself, Abby, and whoever else is interested. If no one is then you'll be shit out of luck if you suddenly decide you want to have some.

glad things are moving forward ctcf, maybe you will have a better response if you start a free stickers thread in gen chilling or summat, it might be slipping under the radar in this one. infact il sort it out now, i have work to avoid doing
