I am halfway through season 4 of 24 now...with much lined up in the shadows, tempting me to devour...mainly, the prequel to Spartacus- blood and sand, which remains, by far, my favourite ever series...

I watched Iron Man 2 last night on Netflix. It was quite entertaining! I enjoyed Mickey Rourke's character as Whiplash. Him slicing apart the Grand Prix cars with his whips was really fun to watch!

Re: What are you watching?
Iron Man 2 is one I have avoided checking out for the longest time. I hate superhero movies for the most part, I don't see the appeal when they are all exactly the same, but everyone seems to love Iron Man 2. The first one was ok, better than average superheroes so I guess I'll have to give the sequel a go.
I just finished the first 5 seasons of Weeds on Netflix. Well I had seen the first 2 and a half or so when they originally came out, then I stopped watching. Turns out the first few seasons were the best anyway, but boy did I miss a lot. I wish they were streaming season 6, I want to find out what happens! I've fallen in <3 with the characters, much more so than any other show I've watched recently.

I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

as for superhero films...by far, WAtchmen, is the best I have seen for a long time, Ikku...above all else, purely to enjoy the work of Rorschach...who is very close to how I truly wish I could be, were I braver and more capable of converting my spiteful demand for justice into action.

I'm watching this old Disney video on YouTube. I fondly remember this from when I was a kid!

Re: What are you watching?
Been watching this British show called "Survivors" on Netflix. I've watched 4 episodes of the first season.
It's about a super-flu that wipes out over 90% of the world's population and tells the story of the remaining survivors in England. It's pretty decent to watch. Not super exciting but it makes me think about what the world would be like if most people died.

Adoring my passage through the prequel to Blood and Sand...Gods of The Arena. It lacks something of its sequel, but the oppulence, the brutality, the poetry of discourse...all so fucking glorious for my peculiar spirit. expect a review in the near future...

Re: What are you watching?
The poetry of discourse? I thought the dialog was hilariously laughable in the Spartacus series. I mean it's fun but so goofy, I doubt Romans talked like that.
"Remove head from ass!"
"He has fingers in all the proper assholes. He wiggles them and everyone shits gold."
"Words fall from your lips as shit from ass."
Man those writers were baked

ahh.but, ikku, you are focusing on the obviously weird sillines, and bypassing the general poetry of discourse I was referring towards...for even what you have quoted seems far more interesting than the general 'its all good' bullshit of the modern western exchange...
