Canuck,
There was NO evidence or information pointing to Saddam's intentions to extend the scope and range of his brutal regime. Nothing. In fact there were numerous signs that Hussein was starting to acquiesce to the UN demands regarding weapons inspections. Only a deluded patriot of the UK or US could seriously think that the invasion of Iraq and subsequent capture of Hussein was anything to do with achieving world peace. Have you not read the previous posts regarding the real reasons for the war and the long term plan to invade Iraq that were formulated very soon after Bush and Cheney, the two oil barons, gained their high and mighty positions as top cunts in the US government. Of course, not only those two were the driving forces behind the war(s), but plenty more evil swine. But for sure they are extremely important figureheads. Rumsfeld was different, just an out and out warmonger rather than a greedhead organizing blood for$ manoueveres. Still, I am extremely glad he was a the first casulty of the recent congressional and house of rep elections. The US ambassador to the UN, Bolton, is another devious, chest beating pig who should be jailed rather than merely stripped of his post. the web of bullshit and black widows is multi layered and would take a nuclear strike on washington and many other areas of the US and Tel Aviv to destroy...

I never argued the US's intentions man. I just know Saddam had to be taken down, in this day and age you can't put up with barbarian dictators like that. People shouldn't have to live a life of horror while we stand by. I'm not American and I don't particularly agree with everything they do but I congratulate them on getting rid of Saddam Hussein. Too bad they fucked up afterwards though, hopefully Iraq can be worked out.

One brutal dictator has been replaced by a handful of equally brutal religious leaders and bloodthirsty insurgent kingpins. I am sure that Bush Strategists knew that there would be a popular 'well at least Saddam is finally brought to his knees' sentiment and the very same strategists have worked immeasurably hard to try encourage people to focus on that part of their actions rather than the net result which is a truly shocking civil war in which hundreds of Iraqis are slaughtered every day. I think that the only way Iraq can be 'worked out' is to divide the country into various states between the warring factions, which therefore is the demise of the sovereignty of the country.
So who is next on lthe list of eaders who need to be taken down in your view, Canuck? And who are the prime candidates to take down this next regime?

I don't really like the fact that North Korea is developing all these nucleur bombs. They must have some intent if they're making them, I don't know what can be done about that though. Bush probably needs to go to, his unpopularity and his image as a whole is too much...not to mention I think he's just a puppet and I really question the American voters integrity.

EDIT: Prime candidates eh, the UN is the obvious. Personally I think that no military is neccessary but a UN military. So if you are from a country in the UN, and you choose to join the military then you join it as a UN member, not a US, Canada, Britain etc. member. Then when a country fucks up they have this massive UN military on their asses.

UN has to get more involved and have more bite to back up their bark.

lol

watch this and tell me that if you were the president of the united states how you would have dealt with this

http://youtube.com/watch?search=&mode=r ... tDRGRnkOIA

This breaks my heart no matter who was responsible for it, the Taliban, Al Quaida, gay fake conspiracy theories that the USG was behind it. It doesn't matter. Shivers, people. Shivers.

I'm sure George Bush is a great guy and he's allowed to have his own thoughts just like anyone else. But fuck he's a terrible president! There's a lot of things that make him look bad which in return makes the US look bad and also makes Texas looks bad. but truly SURVEY SAYS More people in Texas hate bush than anywhere else. In my opinion we should just leave Iraq alone because this war has completely strayed from it's original plan. from what I've read most people from Iraq say they actually preferred Saddam's reign over how everything is right not...but I guess soon we'll see what happens...and by the looks of it, it might be VERY soon

P.S. In my honest opinion, I say bring Clinton back! He was the best president this country ever had! Sure he got oral from his secretary, but he was a freaking good president! This shouldn't have been handled the way it was, personal matters shouldn't be brought into the fate of the country...besides, it's Hillary's fault for not putting out

I disagree, not that I believe what Saddam did was right but I do believe the west shouldn't have invaded Iraq.

Without extensive historical knowledge, generally speaking the modern and more developed countries of the world (ie the west) have all gone through a revolution of some kind. In my humble opinion the same would have happened in Iraq eventually. It's like were trying to drag a nation living in a pre-modern way of society and impose our laws and way of life on them.. It just fucks with peoples heads and causes more upset than cures it.

Unless Iraq directly threatened we should have just left them to have their own revolution etc instead of fucking up the process of westernising a country.

But going back on topic can't say i know too much about bush, other than the videos that plaster the internet that make him do silly songs or say stupid stuff always make me chuckle

The bear is here...

Look, I knew this guy was trouble ever since he read that book upside down in that kindergarden school. How could you trust a president who reads a book upside down!? I couldnt.. jesus.

The guy is controlling, stealing the wealth of the east, going into a country that isnt his but hey please dont get me wrong... my countries PM Tony Blair is as much trouble as him, Them to are seriously in love with eachother. Tony has to go everywhere Bush goes and vica versa... but Bush is the dominant partner of the two... *kinky*

In my personal oppinion Saddam & Binladin shouldnt be put on the death penalty for one good reason which i hope is valid in everyone elses eyes.

1. The small portion of their own community worship these people and the death of them could be the threat of something much.... more destructive happening.

2. Look killing someone is too quick... let them suffer in prison for the rest of their screwed up lives getting man handled in the prison showers. Hey it would certainly teach those bastards a lesson.

Guys, I'm gonna tell you right now.

The title to this thread is not even funny. At all.

He may be a bit of a moron, true. I'm not 100% happy with the job he has done, nobody is. But he is our leader for 2 more years.

Deal with it.
