Re: Your dreams
It's all useless to me anyway, I can't remember my dreams.

Re: Your dreams
its wicked to see you back on the forums, mate...As for your lines, they are interesting, but i see a stance such as 'purpose of dreams are to fill in the blanks' as nothing more substantial, just equally of inquiring intrigue to ponder, as my own stance on the subject, which is not at all the same, for my own dreams (I mean the most vivid, most potent dreams, which affect me after I have woken, not just intensely whilst asleep) have many times been very clearly, in the most logical explanation of their occurrence, nothing whatsoever to do with filling in a blank or offering some balance.Weedguru_RyaNayR wrote:It is possible, that this particular phenomena might be explained by your 'inward consciousness' presenting to you what you do not consciously acknowledge, in other word,s, what you suppress... if you supress violent thoughts, your mind will unbury that and shove it back in your face, for you to deal with in full... if, in your daily life, you tend to obsess with the darker aspects of your life, your inner mind will show you the opposite side of things... so.... waking positivity presents dreaming negativity, and waking negativity will cause dreaming positivity... thing is, the purpose of dreams are to fill in the blanks... so to speak.. so, basically, in order to maintain balance, you must acknowledge both positive and negative... should you fail to do so, with either, your dreams will compensate. and balance things out for you...weedguru_animal wrote:Strangely as much as interestingly..if i watch brutality before i sleep, i have amazingly pleasant dreams. Yet if I watch something pleasant before slumber, i have too often for comfort, the most savage nightmares...its as if my soul or spirit, perhaps a combination of them both, is so conditioned to carnage and doom, that i have a NEED to feel pain during my waking hours, for failing that, leads to my soul/spirit seeking out such savagery when my eyes finally close and the waking world drifts away into the ether....
Hopefully that makes some kind of sense in some way, I am a bit drunk so it could just be incoherent rambling... but i'm pretty sure I managed to get my point out somehow.

Re: Your dreams
Try setting your alarm for bang in the middle of a period of time when you are usually deeply asleep...waking abruptly from that point should help you drag some memory of DREAMLAND into the conscious waking world.omnific.dc wrote:It's all useless to me anyway, I can't remember my dreams.
