To say that something has to exist would be showing how bad a scientist you are, but also saying something cannot exist is equally naive. So, basically, it's all up to what you believe and observe.
Sorry to say this Nublet but: science only gets proven by observation?

SCIENCE IS ONLY ACCEPTED AS TRUE (proven) IF THROUGH EMPIRICAL FACTS.

What this means is : For something to be true (proven) scientists (or anyonewanting to prove its true) have to be able to repeatedly get the same outcome, so scientists usually conduct experiments based on the theories they think up , right?

Now a theory is correct if the experiment results in what they predicted.

And it is only accepted as true if they can do that experiment over and over and over, in different labs, with the same outcome.

empirical : provable or verifiable by experience or experiment.

So yes, scientists from all over the globe have extracted DNA from fossils, scientists have made links between monkeyDNA and our DNA, with a small percentage deriving from monkeyDNA to make us what we are, human beings.

Please people, quit saying evolution has not been proven.

Instead try to think up some prove about christianity, and all religions for that matter, it's based on dogmatism, fiction and has nothing it can empirically prove...

Fuck man I mean the Leader of the Christians is even telling people not to donate to amnesty international 'cause 'condoms are forbidden'

Screw them!

Oh yea? Did you see this extraction process? Did you see it on TV or did you see it with your very own eyes? Would you even know it's a real fossil if you saw it in real life? no?

I know that evolution is true because I clean up after people as my job, and trust me, people are monkeys. Disgusting, messy primates with heads full of delusions. Just look at your average family, watch the little kids, watch the self-importance of the adults, and try to tell me that they don't look like monkeys. Think about two people having sex and try to tell me that they don't look like instinct driven animals.

Humans are apes. That is a fact.

Humans are primates not apes. We may have a common ancestor, but we've managed to become two separate species.

Apes are all members of the Hominoidea superfamily, which includes, yes, humans.

BUT you still have to filter down through genus and species. Humans are not apes. We are two species that can be grouped together within several levels of the scientific classification echelons, but it's a stretch to say we are them.

About 98.5 percent of the genes in people and chimpanzees are identical, making chimps the closest living biological relatives of humans. This does not mean that humans evolved from chimpanzees, but it does indicate that both species evolved from a common ape ancestor. Orangutans, the great apes of Southeast Asia, differ much more from humans genetically, indicating a more distant evolutionary relationship.

Modern humans have a number of physical characteristics reflective of an ape ancestry. For instance, people have shoulders with a wide range of movement and fingers capable of strong grasping. In apes, these characteristics are highly developed as adaptations for brachiation—swinging from branch to branch in trees. Although humans do not brachiate, the general anatomy from that earlier adaptation remains. Both people and apes also have larger brains and greater cognitive abilities than do most other mammals.

Human social life, too, shares similarities with that of African apes and other primates—such as baboons and rhesus monkeys—that live in large and complex social groups. Group behavior among chimpanzees, in particular, strongly resembles that of humans. For instance, chimps form long-lasting attachments with each other; participate in social bonding activities, such as grooming, feeding, and hunting; and form strategic coalitions with each other in order to increase their status and power. Early humans also probably had this kind of elaborate social life.

However, modern humans fundamentally differ from apes in many significant ways. For example, as intelligent as apes are, people’s brains are much larger and more complex, and people have a unique intellectual capacity and elaborate forms of culture and communication. In addition, only people habitually walk upright, can precisely manipulate very small objects, and have a throat structure that makes speech possible.

people r finnally startting to get it here. i personally do believe in evolution because i went to the darwin exhibit at the museum of new york. and i just believe it. i just do. especially because it makes so much more sense then some god guy just magically making us. thats why. but the real truth could be another theory..i just believe in evolution because it seems the most realistic.

Apes are not a species. The word "Ape" loosely defined is a large monkey with little or no tail. Humans are large monkeys with small tails (we do have a tailbone, woops, there's evidence for evolution right there). Scientifically, there are the lesser apes (like gibbons) and the great apes, which are orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, and humans.

so who believes in what? i believe in god because everything is to complex
to just have created itself... thats just my opinion though. its hard to

believe whats real and whats not because people lie. So really its hard to
know if there is a god or if evolution exists.. i dunno i jsut believe

ps i thought about this wen i was high once and i dont no if it makes
any sence so dont yell at me.. lol .. if we evolved from monkeys, wouldnt
all monkeys be evolved then? idk i just thought about that once and it
makes sense to me but im no scientist

^No, law of the fittest.

You see we humans mutated out of the same 'family' (thus apes) as say orangutans (which means we and orangutans evolved from the same ancestor) now in evolution you get multiple mutations out of the same family, the mutation that adapted itself the best to its surroundings survived and kept on mutating.

that's why we continued to evolve into what we are today (millions of years of evolution and we're still debating about bullshit like religion and gods, fucking hell I'm ashamed) so yes, humans/animals/trees/plants/everything has evolved over millions of years.

No it was not created by some fucker in the sky, certainly not in a week.

Get some freaking logic into your way of thinking, if you find 'everything to be way to complex to have created itself' than believing in a god is complete nonsense since it would be even harder to believe one being made all of this.

I'm getting fed up with this, ban religion/gods/worshipping and solve one of the world's biggest problems
