french rap is about real life,not about bling bling,killing people or shit like that. All I see americans rap about is how big they are,what jewels they have, the money, 'bitchez', guns they have.

American rap is all about bluffing about yourself trying to impress others with your bling and the amount of people you killed...

I wasn't talking solely about the vids in this thread, and yes I just watched one and that happened to be the grimm reaper thingie

I'm talking american vs french rap in general, and not about 'skill' just about what they want to represent, and going at it from that angle I must say that American rap equals kiddierap, grown up people trying to act tough and letting the world know how dangerous and yet rich they are, or what hard a time they had growing up in the hood while the french talk more about the little things in life, they keep it realistic give people something to relate to other than sticking knives into people or 'capping' them.

I'm not offended but it was an ignorant blatant stereotype if ever there was one. There are alot of american rappers who spit about alot realer shit than whatever you said, guns, bitches, jewelry, etc. that's just what the commercial industry wants you to hear.

Stereotype or not,even french commercial rap doesn't go where American rap goes.

ANd pardon me, but I think the American 'Rap industry' kinda forced that stereotype on itself
