I was watching the discovery the other day, and they predict that the westtern half of some island called Las Palmas or something like that is going to slide off into the ocean. Creating a mega-tsunami which would hit the entire eastern coast of the US. Those waves from landsides can get up to like 50 stories tall and shit. I feel bad for all the people that where affected by the tsunami though, it's a shitty thing to happen and what sucks even worse is there was no way to prevent it really. I donated $47 at school the other day, was all I had.

man, it's so surreal. Hotels are opening their doors to tourists again while there are still bodies lying in the streets... I guess it's necessary cuz well tourism is a big thing in south east indonesia ... But what the hell so much death and destruction.

uh there was like 4,000 deaths from the twin towers, that's nothing compared to what the tsunami did. They estimate that they'll have around 300,000 dead...so tragic

i guess it takes all kinds...
Cops arrested a group of six college kids yesterday for collecting money for the Tsunami refief fund from neighbours and passersby. They collected something like 3 million rupees that wasnt going anywhere NEAR relief work....
shit like this makes me sick...

I was watching the news the other guy and they're interviewing this guy whose village was completely wrecked, most people died/got injured. So the reporters talking and he goes ''i understand that this village survived the war but could not withstand the tsunami'' the villager goes ''yeah'' and the fuck reporter says ''that's ironic innit''
What kind of a fucking thing to say is that?! ''Ok so all your family are dead and your home is destroyed, still gotta appreciate the irony of it all hey?'' Nice one Mr. Sensitive. Fucking dumbass media.

Five Armenian exchange students made banners, stood at three malls in three different parts of the city and collected 500,000 rupees in three days. (they stood at each place the whole day)
Then went to Indian Airlines and got five open return tickets to the Andaman Islands. (most tsunami-affected area in India)
Covered their three-day campaign and it was insane to see piles of money in there dorm which they later changed into 1000 rupees notes (still had a huge stack of money). they left yesterday.hopefully some of the money will be used for some good...
still cant get over 500,000 in three days!!!!!!!!!
