umm actually an eight year old's brain is fully developed and unless you know/talk to eight year olds frequently you obviously have no idea what your talkin bout. they're fully capable of making decisions like that for themselves. I explained what weed is and the long term effects of smoking it and he was smart enough not to smoke it. I had no intentions of letting him but i wanted to see other ppl's opinions. And i nvr said he smoked at all so you obviously didnt read my posts all the way or maybe it didnt sink through your head

8 is way too young your lungs don't fully develop until you are like 15. I didn't even talk to my sister about my pot habits until she was 13 cause she tried it with her friends.

I am 14 and started when i was 13...i still only smoke at the most once a week. so nooo...let the kid figure out how to climb trees and how to play football...then let himself get fucked up... but once they start drug talk...u gotta tell him that it helps grampa's glaucoma

When my older bro was 7, he got the joint passed to him, maybe coz he just sat in the circle all quietyly. He was always obsessed with fire - he burnt down an entire apartment complex when we was only 3 or 4, lol. He had been having match wars with his cousin and when they caught the carpet on fire, he tried to put it out by rolling a tube of tiolet papaer across it. It rolled straight to the couch, which promptly ignited. My mom said when he was two, a mere baby, she woke up and her pillow was on fire. She freaked out and jumped up, and there was baby Ron with four cigarettes hanging out of his mouth, trying to smoke them all.

So by 6 or 7 he was already stealing cigarettes and smoking them, and from the convos I had with him, he wanted to smoke cigarettes and pot at a young age. He saw my parents doing it and wanted to do it too. My dad maintains it was an accident that he got high at 7 years old, but nonetheless he smoked with him after that plenty of times as a young child.

My point is that he became a stoner at 8 or 9 and he turned out okay. Strong and reasonably intelligent. He was smart enough to never touch hard drugs. I remember him telling me not to either, when he smoked me out at the responsible age of 14. He was already dying of cancer by then.

Now my little sister is 11 and she knows what I do. She can enjoy video games or swimming without having to get all baked first. I want her to wait until she is at least 16 or 18. I want her to know if she starts young, she has a good chance of being a pothead, and it has its down $ides too it, too.

Another reason not to get your kid siblings baked is that they will eventually bum off you.

Listen to me on this they will eventually grow into doin that shit just give it time... i know kids that have smoked with there parents ( which would be pretty cool) if i were a parent id let my kid do this shit on his own.

I know how it is, I was high once and my sister asked me to try, I figured it would be cool as hellso I let her do it, but she's 15. She doesn't do it now, she never did again. prolly cuz we got caught cuz she's an idiot and went and told everyone online. but still if she was any younger I wouldn't have said yes. although, yes, it would be halarious to get your brother stoned, why would you want to expose him to something that would only cause him harm? yes, weed is amazing and a great escape but not for a nine year old!
