Deffinatly, because the cops wouldn't fire them at you unless you were doing stuff bad enough that you have to be put down on the ground for. Cops wouldn't shoot tokers so we're safe!

Gray dude I reckon cops in the UK should have guns! We wont turn like America too fast for the main reason we dont have gun shops as much as they do. The worst main stream gun is an air gun shootin slugs! The only real way of gettin guns here is if they illegally smuggled etc etc!

in the uk cops are only meant to shoot if someone aims a gun directly at them. if u shoot when you're not supposed to a big enquiry goes on & you get the sack 9 times out of 10.

but anyways there is no such thing in the constitution that says that civilians "have the right to bear arms". it says that the state can organize a militia if it so chooses. and the militia can be made of civilians who can therefore own guns.
but anyway its too late to do anything. if you made guns legal there would just be a huge black market for them and all the bad people will have guns, leaving the people trying to defend themselves helpless.

in canada the cops all carry beretta .45's and people are allowed to have guns in their homes, but u gotta take this course and buy the liscence to carry em.

Anybody who clings to the "Guns don't kill people slogan" is an idiot. The same goes for people who liken the situation to ndrugs. Drugs are, with little exception, solely for personal use. I think all drugs should be legal because you should have the right to do whatever you wnat to your OWN body. On the other hand not many people buy guns with the intention of shooting themselves. There are no justified uses for guns other than if used by the police against an armed assailent, primaily for intimidation. My foster sister was shot with a fcukin air gun and her unborn baby almost died.
