Nah, I understand, I was stupidly stoned at the time of posting that, although thats not really any different than right now. I did misinterpret it, as i understood it i thought you meant those without spiritual or religious beliefs. My bad, apology is on the table.

Does anyone else think it's a coincidence how people way back in BC times thought they saw "God" and now we, here in the present NEVER do, and back in THOSE days it was common to use opiates and PCP type drugs (not for fun but for food)?
A lot of people back then just ate whatever they could, which happened to be not so good for you
I have heard of people tripping on acid thinking they see god and shit.... well it can't all be a coincidence >_> can it?
Ah well. I'm agnostic and sticking to it, and I'll just let everyone else try and figure out what the 'truth' is, even though they NEVER will

while I just make the most out of my life, instead of taking the time to think about what comes next.

Well ... what makes you think that people NEVER do now days. People in my spiritual path see the goddess every day. Look around you

And if you mean, as in seeing some burning ligt or big something or other, check out
www.erowid.com, the spirituality section. Sometimes I really wish people would atleast try and become more educated about this subject before trying to engage in long conversation about it

It's all good man, don't even worry about it. That's the problem with a stoner forum, no one ever completely understands what's going on

I was stoned myself when i wrote it which is why it didn't make a lotta sense.

St. paul was tripping on copius amounts of hallucinogenics when he wrote the book of Revelations.
Let's not forget that acid in its organic form comes from rotten and fermenting seed heads, so there is a very good possibility that people were trippin all the time.
It's also important to remember that all of the examples of miracles in the Old and New Testaments were written in reflection. For example, we are all familiar with the story of Moses and how God sent supernatural plagues to the Egyptians. In the end, God parts the waters of a sea so that his people can get away from the Egyptians, their slave-masters. But a historical exegesis of the story reveals that the water they crossed was likely nothing more than a small marsh. One can picture the people picking their way through on foot, and the Egyptian chariots of war getting stuck in the mud in pursuit.
You see, the accounts of these miracles are nothing more than stories passed down; the deliverance of the Hebrews from Egyptian slavery was not recorded until nearly 500 years after the fact. So you have the priestly authors creating a narrative, not a consise history. They used narrative devices such as hyperbole and mythic hieghtening when writing down their legends.

I've never done any drug more hallucinogenic than mushrooms, in fact the only drugs I've ever done were shrooms and weed.
Sorry I don't know more about it (or spirituality) but I know what I am talking about when I say that people FUCKED up on drugs think they see shit.

Christianity as an ideology and practice to make each person happy with themselves and others and to help others is good the religeous side of it is just nonsense
