i'd start with the haulage idea. if you start doing this, you will then get customers and these customers will probably know other people. Once in every 100 people or so, you may get lucky with an opportunity in some way.

get out there and get doing shit man. people don't get rich whilst wondering how to make money.

Check local online classifieds or craiglist for people looking to give away broken large kitchen appliances, broken hot water heaters, etc...there's tons of ads like that in my classifieds. People are often unable to haul those things away themselves or can't be arsed to do it. That's all stuff you can haul off to the scrap yard
