My kid is currently reading the Vampire Diaries books...she says they are awesome. But that the critique of a 12 year old lol

i recommend philip k dick.
i read "do androids dream of electric sheep" a couple years ago and "the man in the high castle" this month.
both are fantastic works of art.

and with my adult mind i could understand the material on a deeper level. plus the world he creates is surreal with a killer twist ending

I started Do Androids Dream a while ago but lost focus. Read A Scanner Darkly, undoubtedly the most psychological of all books I've read.

i shoudl totally read "a scanner darkly".
the movie was so awesome, so i know the book can only be way way better

i recommend stephen king, its always a nice easy read with fascinating stories. i know not everyone likes him but whateves
i suggest either "the stand" truly epic storytelling
or for those with a craving for massive amounts of reading. the dark tower series
