Flow...how is this paid for??? What are the basics of the belgian taxations system, both on income, and goods and services and any other taxes which pretty much everyone is affected by???

Taxes on just about any product (we pay about three times as much as people abroad do for the same product) taxes on your monthly income, then an annual tax... We pay way too much for what we receive.

And today I just got informed that I apparently had to appear in court because of some dumb thing that happened months ago (I hit a car when I was backing out of a parking space, at like 2mph so there wasn't any damage) the 22nd of Februari, but due to me being in between addresses I missed that, great!

The reason I ask, Flow, is that I remember Mario telling me of the taxation in Belgium, which even compared to the british system is savage...and is totally related to accepting the government take control over many aspects of people's lives. Hence the lack of massive investment and entrepreneurs in Belgium, as the government take too much to make it worthwhile. And they can make much more money elsewhere...You could say, anyone could say, well...its a battle between a nanny state, and a total free market approach which encourages individuals to make massive $$$ opposed to a system which discriminates against those very people.

Indeed, it is amazing how much it costs employers to get employees down here, everything we do costs us way too much money (The best example is our internet, just now our providers are starting to boost download limits,or even get rid of them completely but we still pay up to three times as much as anyone else in the world!).

And this goes for everything in every single sector in every single industry in Belgium, foreign investors get scared off by the enormous costs and frankly the political landscape is also a bit too bland to be an effective billboard for foreign investors.

If I could I would rise up and take over the government in some sort of revolution but as you all known the Masses have been domesticated and all I get when I complain about our situation is weird looks and fuckers that are too brainwashed to see how 'bad' (relatively of course) things are here.
