At the same time things like that can be sad. I remember people who i was such great friends with and i know them grew up with them and then over time it fades and you no longer know them.
Childhood is a thing that needs to be taken in slowly, but when your a child all you wanna do is grow up. We did we rush things only to see that sometimes the simpler life is the more you enjoy it. Did i really need to know why i have to wash my hand. No i would have don't it quite happily not really knowing. Like why did i have to find out that smell is little particles going up into your nose. Now every time i smell something like dog shit it just runs through my mind

I'll always remember going to guernsey, to an old nazi underground bunker. guernsey & the channel islands being the only british soil the nazi's captured during WW2. anyways, my parents had purchased me a gameboy, and i was happily wandering along through these cavernous concrete chambers, past creepy murals of dying soldiers, and swastikas roughly painted on the wall, playing pokémon blue, with that irritating music blaring at full blast. I curse myself for being so ignorant of what was going on. oh well... i could only have been about 8.
another anecdote.
In my first year at school, we had to do a nativity play. and i was stuck being joseph. so we were standing in rows,on this makeshift stage, singing some crappy hymn about crossing roads, and this dude(who today happens to be my best friend) was tapping my shoulder with his scepter thing, cus he was one of the three kings, and it really bugged me, so i turned round and belted him in the face. and was promptly ''ejected for challenging behavior''.
Also, i once pawned my great grandads pocketwatch and used the money to buy fireman sam videos. i managed to get it back, eventually.
