Yeah I live right near where the worst part hit...we just got our power/cable back so i get to use the internet again...=D. But It was fun around here....just got stoned and tried to fly kites...I hear in New Orleans (about 2 hours west of me) There were dead bodies floating through the streets..that sucks. (they have overground graveyards). There were 55 casualties in my city, wich is the most we've had for about 15 years...but we should be ok.

P.S. The limbs and branches covering everyones yard = cleanup $ for me...

Oh and for whoever said sum1 is going to New Orleans next month...DONT COUNT ON IT. Its going to be chaos for the next few months.

just got done watching local news...wow. New Orleans - 1/2 million people left without shelter. they are all being asked to evacuate north.....hundreds supposed dead. would be more in deatail but my left eye hurts and i dont feel like typing......should take months to repair...

and that thing that happened at that sjiiet (dunno the spelling) gathering in iraq(not sure) where someone yelled there was a suicide bomber inthe crowd and they started stampeding

fucked up shit is going on today

I wonder, will my kids grow up with nothing but Bombings,war,death to learn from?

My dad is in Memphis right now, stuck at the airport because they're using it to give refugees from down south a place to stay. A few of his collegues are from Biloxi and New Orleans, one of them found his house half a mile down the road.

The images I saw on TV remind me of the tsunami in December. Good thing the death toll is about 300 times less.

we still have not heard from my aunt. my mom is starting to get pretty upset about it, even talked to my other aunts and was considering going to MS. thankfully we talked her out of it.
