i work (sort of) as a journalist...but me and a couple of friends (who'v done film production and photography) are starting our own production company. We've already made 4 videos for non-profit organisations and sold it to them at cost price.
It cost us next to nothing to shoot, edit and process the films. One was on stray dogs, which we sold to an animal shelter, another was on the beggars here which we sold to charitable organisation that helps them, and another for an alcohol rehab centre. We plan to use these as our portfolio for bigger ad contracts, music videos, and small documentaries.

My two friends were in a band.... and they started getting all the equipment you need to make a studio.... when their band broke they finally had everything they needed for a fully functional quality studio. Now what they are doing is recording a bunch of local bands who would never be able to recorded without them.
