it's also nice to have friends with different ages... because you can see some things from their perspective... how things use to be for them...

I don't put much value on the age of a person. I know thirty year old people that act more like they're twenty while I know people in their twenties that act like they are forty.

Age in my eyes mostly has to do with how old you are physically, at first glance I might look younger than I am but once I start talking to a stranger she will notice, by the way I act, what I talk about etc. that I am actually older than she initially thought.

I don't know if you guys have this, but I don't 'keep' my mental age when I'm around younger people, I tend to get into their mindset, I don't have this feeling of an age barrier as much, it mostly depends on how mature the person is i'm talking to, but I try not to let age come into things.


I do stay away from minors on certain levels :p but you know what I mean, I don't automatically start treating younger people as 'kids', unless they totally are kids...

That's pretty dumb, even if it's just a five year old I treat them with respect and try to teach them something, or try to get into their fantasy world when we play together.

Treating kids as if they were retarded only makes them retarded, you ought to know better than that Andria.

Also I really doubt their one encounter with me is going to drop their IQ level. Besides kids nowadays are already kind of iffy...

Yeah Kids these days are out of control, and I can easily get back into a sixteen year old's mindset, it just depends on the teenagers, how they conduct themselves, I'm not gonna try and understand a punk acting stupid, but some teenagers are more mature mentally and that immediately shows.

I feel like we had this thread a long time ago but this one is newer and I haven't posted. I am 20. I wasn't even old enough to buy rolling papers when I joined here. We've got a long affair me n this community. While I'm sad that a lot of older members have gone and not a whole lot of new ones have been added, it's pretty nice to be able to come back here after all this time and still see the same familiar faces (er, screennames).
