if i ever quit cigarettes (or attempted to) it would be simply for the money i'd need rather than my own health, so i'd accept one when offered.
however, if i did decide to try and quit for my personal health i would find it so hard and i doubt i'd actually succeed in doing it.

i'm trying to give up cigarettes but let me tell you its difficult. i've stopped smoking during the week but when i go out on the weekend i find it very hard to refuse, especially when your in a club or around others that are smoking. when i was smoking regs i had a tired look on my face and after quitting for a week my skin began to clear up, i lost that tired look and my eyes began to sparkle. i think the feeling your trying to describe is the high energy feeling you get that makes you wanna smoke something. you just have to use that high energy as a positive feeling and ride with it. buts it fuckin hard tho. i've stopped smoking weed too, i only smoke it occassionally when i'm with friends which means a spliff or two for the night, and i'm feeling much more energitic and more social as a result of cutting down enormously. i guess became addicted to smoking jays coz it was something i always had to do before, during and after sex ...and smoking jays really made me horny. the sad thing is i always felt like i needed a jay to fuck. but now that i've stopped i dont need a jay or any substance to get my dick going, so now its all good. i just have to cut out the cigs entirely!

Instead of wasting all the money on cigarettes, spend it on weed (lots of it) and roll joints and put 'em in your cigarette pack.
Personally, I'm 16 and I think cigarettes are retarded, so this is just random advice that probably won't work...

I quit smoking cigs when I was 18, 5 years after I started, and it was incredibly hard. I don't mean to discourage you but it's nearly impossible. There's only one way to succeed, believe me, and that's to never do it again. You want to hold on to your mixed joints b/c you're comfortable, you like the taste, you feel safe with that little tiny nic boost to get you through the cravings. You're owned by the baccy. You're not ready to quit yet.
I have experience in quitting hardcore, some very deeply ingrained or chemical habits: meat, cigarettes and crack cocaine. Your will has to be of a courageous mettle; it isn't easy. You have to be ready to battle temptation, temtation like you never dreamed, and know you can win. I thought about smoking 1,000 times a day when I came off hard drugs. If I couldn't have the coke my body and mind wanted, it would have been easy to smoke the cigarttes my body wanted even more. It was harder to quit cigarettes than it was crack cocaine, meat or dairy. I still get cravings, inhaling the sweet smoke, that space between my fingers itching as if I've lost a phantom limb. My blood doesn't ache anymore for niccotine, which does get you high, you just build up a tolerance to it. My first ciggies got me so high I was nearly sick! But it didn't take long till I was a pack and a half a day smoker. Let's do the math... I've saved six thousand dollars! But did I ever really have $6,000 to spend on something which kills me, does me no good and has wrapped its smoky tendrils forever around my heart? No, I did not, and tobacco is evil.
Cast the evil one out of your joints man, or you will never be free.

Well, i still aint smoked and im smoking most of my joints pure now, its only when i'm running low that i like to pad em out a bit. I still get cravings, mostly when im drunk, but i have em pretty much under control. It's not easy coz all my friends smoke, but i think i can handle it. And another thing, you dont notice just how bad smokers smell until you quit.
And mac dre, sorry mate but i sold those evil smokes a while ago and bought meself some bud
