when yo make a post when writting it, there is a topic review, that is a standalone fresh page loaded everytime, so your iewing the topic by reading it, then 2nd time when you post, and 3rd if you view your third, is there really need for 3 times a page ?

We also need to remove the flash intro on the real site. That takes up an amazing amount of bandwidth. Secondly we need to remove the post confirmation page, and just put in a redirect to the post you just made. Thirdly, switch to zeroforums.com, use that program for the forums. It handles large forums like this much better, less script glitches, and less bandwidth. Fourly, auto prune.

Those are the golden rules of webspace and bandwidth. Follow them, and ye shall find glorious success.

My server has unlimited bandwith. And I paid 20 dollars for it 3 years ago...I guess they like me.

so what happernd wheni go on vacation and 30 days passes and i loose all my posts and things? heh, will you be able to bring them back? no >;/

well u could always say inform an admin and they could have an exceptions section for those who are on hoolydays

you dont lose posts but who actually takes the time to go look at topics from over a month ago or so? Auto-prune deletes inactive topics over a month old. You still get to keep your post count

I think when we read a thread, we should get to vote for it.
I mean decide if this thread is important or not. (example old threads that has about 3 replies, shitty threads) i don't really know how to explain what i mean since marijane is affecting my mind, but we should be able to delete unimportant posts.

(Btw i'll probably edit this post when i'll be sober, don't worry if you can't get to know what i'm talking about)
