He is here in Melbourne on the 11th...I am debating whether to get a ticket. Really i should, regardless of having nobody to go with...and I most likely will, just to make the most of the opportunity to be in the same room as someone I greatly admire.

As you saw on the last page of the thread I've seen him live... He sounds the exact same as he would on any recorded album... DEFINITELY worth attending if you have the time!
Downloading his new album now... going to roll one up, play some FIFA 12 and give it a listen.

i bought not just one ticket, but two...so my brotherly mate from the homeland can attend by my side/...we will be there, this thursday.

Nice that's awesome. You surely will not be disappointed... Let us know how it goes. As for the new album "The Martyr", I ran through most of the album a good 5-6 times yesterday so thanks for the suggestion. As of now some of my favorites include The Martyr, Angels and Demons, Rich Man's World & Signs of the Times... Eyes in the Sky.., basically the whole album.

hey Animal, give us a detailed post about the concert after you see him tomorrow.. can't wait to hear it. Who all is playing with him?
When performers can sound the same on stage as they do on their album, that's when I can say they are truly a great artist. I know that Cypress Hill, Collie Buddz, Slightly Stoopid, Incubus, and Atmosphere all sound the same, if not better live. Atmosphere is WAY better live than on CD especially because he gets the crowd to get so in to his songs and performance. Incubus sounds literally the exact same live, and they mix up their songs by talking and getting the crowd to go crazy in certain parts so you know it isn't fake. So far, Incubus and Atmosphere were by FAR my favorite artists at concerts I've ever seen. They blew me away
