it was like the buzz you get from a cig so I wouldn't really consider it a high.

you missed the point i was making dude, but its all good! Seems most people started smoking just to experiment rather then having a real reason, fair do's really, like i said before, wish i did that years ago.

I kinda regret doing it so early though because it's taken a huge toll on my brain and could have held off of it until I was 16 or so, but I'm one of the only people that it's really done bad for so it sucks ><

lol, that is a benefit of starting late i guess, i have my life on track already, and i did rather well at school so now i can afford to smoke weed, both economically and mentally. However like i say, my stoner mates have chonged for 5 - 8 years (varies from person to person) and none of them are brain dead.

i was against it year 9,10... then end of year 11 start of year 12
my best mate said he was interesting in trying.... and i thought
fuck why not try it... so my mate had a big house party.... and
two other friends were willing to show us the ropes...

and im still climbing those ropes... im a long way up now...

prolly like 2 years ago is when i started. before that, i was a straight and narrow, clean cut, good student. now, i guess im still a good student but the other things have fallen to the wayside. i started smokin right after i started goin out to party and drink. some stoner firends were all like "lets go light up" so we go to my friends greennhouse and start hittin some dank ass green.

i dont know if i really got high the first time because i was pretty drunk that night too. i kinda got spoiled smokin with these stoner guys cause they had been doin it for a while and had the dankest shit in town. we smoked regularly and never asked me to pay them a dime! i always made sure i had munchies and food though.

started because my cousin offered me a 30 bag.. i was like, yeeeaah.. i guess, so me and my best friend tom (who had already smoked a little before) put our money in and went to meet my cousin about a mile away from my house to buy from him. turns out he smoked what he had bought for me...

so still determined to get somthing from my cousin i rang him again and told him to come meet me at my house, he gave me a tens and me and tom smoked about half of it. didnt get high, was quite dissapointed.

met my (old) dealer who used to be half decent before he started growing his own *rolls eyes* through my best friend tom and started hanging out in his garage smoking some decent stuff, eg. white widow, etc, went to a festival bought my first metal pipe, and went on from there.

Now i buy a tens a week and usually toke up anywhere from 2-5 times a week just to relax, havnt told any of my other friends because they wouldnt approve, but hey, whatever.

hah i was against it before too.... i refused to smoke... but then it just seemed to interest me...to experience i guess and two of my friends also wanted to try.. so we kinda got together.... sadly 1st time didnt work... but the 2nd time we were highhh haha =D plus it kinda makes me just a tad bit more creative i guess... kinda get some insparations from it

I walked into my girlfriend's house (who is anti pot) and my friend was mincing pot on a cutting board to make cannabutter. I walked over and said, "Oh, so that's what pot looks like," and after he cooked it I put the butter on toast and ate it. It tasted like ass shit but I got stoned off my ass. I bought some of the green right then and there from this little asian kid and I've been toking it ever since.

I dont get that, when i had my first time on a joint, i was smashed. I started hanging out with 2 mates that had been smoking for years n years (1 on this board) and another guy i work with, we used to just cruise n hot box the car the first few times i smoked, i was wrecked. However, the next sideline question is:

Why if you didnt get high when you tried, would you bother to smoke again?
