What?!? I dig the ganj as much as the next gal, but I don't want some scummy teens paraphanalia in my kids happy meal. It was at least terribly irresponsible. I'm not saying putting the weed in the bag was a good thing, but when the mcdonalds fires the employee, and charges him with possession, and the family still ends up filing a lawsuit against the mcdonalds, then yea. The least that could have happened to the family was at least ingesting some of the shit. The child didn't even know what it was. Honestly, how did the family endure any type of pain or loss for what happened? The way I see it, the family was using the child's find as an excuse to sue the company to make a quick buck, so fuck them. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some white trash family either.

how do we know the dad didn't lie about the whole thing anyway?

I mean it could of been someone he didn't like and then make a fake report to the police about it, nice little scam but seems a little too fishy for me.

You have to know the guy and call him when you're in the drive-thru. He'll instruct you on what to order so he knows what car you're in and when you get your "double-cheeseburger" it's actually half an ounce of Afghani kush.
