well, sounds like he knows hes gonna gets some shady workers in and he trusts you to help him out. hes throwin some money at you to entice you, sounds really slimy to me. i would say take the raise but dont snitch. i mean, he cant fire you for not snitchin, right? i mean if you had nothing to deal with any thievery, he couldnt do squat.

Tell everyone you work with the position your bosses put you in. I don't know why, but I feel like if you let co-workers know, something different will happen?

This may just be me, but I'd say stealing from the company you work for is much "lower" than letting the boss know who did it.

I'd take the raise and do it. I don't endorse snitching by any means but this is an entirely different situation.

It's not snitching when your own personal well being and future is at stake, and you are simply an innocent victim of circumstances. It's defending yourself by telling the truth. It is snitching tho if you did participate in the theft, and then turn around and tell on them so you can keep your job. Snitching is vengefully telling on someone to gain personal benefits.

If you dont become the snitch, he will surely ask someone else to. Its an extra dollar an hour, just tell people to stop stealing because somebody got caught and got in big trouble and say "i almost got in a lot of trouble because I saw it..." then go on and say you dont want to get in trouble for that, so dont steal in front of me so i wont be considered an accomplice.

that way you get extra money, you dont tell your friends that your being a snitch, they wont steal in front of you so you wont have to actually be a snitch, and you keep your job and friends.

like i said theyre using this situation to make me become a snitch
and the cams are there to scare ppl more than anything cuz
the cams are pretty useless. if i say ill snitch from now on
and after couple months i havent gave a single name and theres
still some food being stolen by others i'll be the one in deep shit.

isnt it illegal or sumthing to be putting staff in that type of situation... anyway, about snithcing being low, to me it seems that you are the guys friend and allowed him to steal all the food as he sat and did it right in front of you and u didnt say anything to him... i'd rather keep my friend than get him fired, snitching on a friend i feel is lower than going behind his back just for your own benefits

Just tell your colleagues to quit stealing, so they doesn't get you into an awkward position in the first place.

flow got the right idea man, just tell all the guys your supposed to be "snitching on" that you are meant to be snitching, and they wont do it in front of your face, + your bonds with them will grow too because you're being a real buddy. everybodys happy.

talked to the guy who used to be the snitch and he told me that everyweek the
boss calls u at home and ask u couple questions about certain ppl so i need to
come up with answers for the majority of the questions or else im not doing
a good snitching job.

1$/hr is about 2 more gees every year. but i still feel like its kinda wrong
to be a fkin pig. id hate to go to work everyday and having to check on
everybody everytime and see whos doing what and shit.
