deffiantly. i know myself my thoughts and emotions will be far different with each book i read, during the time it takes me to read the novel.
same happens when a film makes you think about life or other meaningful things, itl be goin over and over in my head for weeks....

I disagree, the thoughts are perfectly normal. No one I've met in my entire life strait edge or otherwise has never even entertained violent thoughts. face it we are very destructive creatures, and even for the sake of political correctness we can't change our primal instincts. We can refine ourselves so we're not all psycho killers though but the thoughts and ideas aren't wrong. People who act on these thoughts are the whacko ones.

People who rip on people for having ideas like this because they aren't smart enough to make up anything as elaborate as the threadstarter did are the whacko ones. Not to mention because they've got a stick up their ass, "no offense...."

I really doubt there are really any kids young enough to be impressioned by some bullshit like this, that's a really cliched statement anyways (omgz wut aboot da childreen noooooo lolol nooooo). And the thread topic is just about science really (I actually give him props for the thought he put into it) and we could be talking about how dangerous cigarettes really are and the like too, but no everybody starts whining when nothing is really wrong. And it's not like the threadstarter said he was planning to kill anybody, just made a little science project jeez.

A "laid back stoner forum" in the way you put it would've given some thought the actual topic instead of shitting themselves because someone even thought about something that could be violent in action. Not very laid back or stonerlike at all, and who said everybody here is super peaceful just based on the fact that we're all stoners anyways? I mean it's not like this thread is extremely unpeaceful anyways it's really based on creativity which is something I thought most stoners we're into?

I mean this is still one of the best forums on the net when it comes to peacefulness (see totse or any of the forums made just for flaming) but we should still be able to discuss these thoughts because they do come up in each and every one of us from time to time.

I conduct experiments (some of them not so elaborate, some more elaborate) on a daily basis, solely for scientific purposes. One day I hope to synthesize a reaction from nicotinamide to ibogaine (a powerful hallucinagenic/dissociate). I am a very peaceful man. I have never hit a woman or started a fight in my life. I just have a lot of free time on my hands.

edit: Oh, I totally forgot to put my opinion on the "would you kill someone" thing... Honestly, I would. But there's only one thing that could bring me to do something like that, the *only* thing that could get me to that point is if someone hurt my gf or worse.. I lose her I lose the world, you know?
