but difference is now my opinion has changed. I got help, and then smoked weed later and during my help. So it was a therapy, a personal therapy as i see it.

Lifts the great weights off of your shoulders and places you inside a bubble which you call your own little world when your high. But in many cases people use weed to escape.. yes. But i dont think its right because when your escaping + weed = paranoia and that is what started off most of my mental health issues, as i believe. So it creates so much tension and pain inside your mind because sometimes you may dwell on that issue or topic inside your mind (whatever your escaping from) and then makes you feel worse later on.

Also you can become phycologically dependant on weed if you are escaping because when your high, that weight is lifted off... but when your sober its back on with alittle extra baggage ontop. People get addicted because in clear logic i can understand, whats the point in feeling the pain, worry and heartbreak or w/e if your sober when you can EASILY get high?

Its a vicious cycle.

On a more positive note, welcome to weedguru forums :)
This is actually very true. ^^

you have described my situation exactly. well most of it sounds like my situation. I have some many inner problems that I think about and the weed gets me to a place to relax and forget.

So am i abusing weed? When i first tried weed and remembering the feeling it gave me I thought this was what this sh*t was to suppose to help you with. my family even says they saw a different, more calm me after getting high and having conversations with them. I know for sure while being high its so much easier to talk and say how i feel. its krazy!!

Hmm...this is a difficult subject. I have to say that I never feel as good sober as I do when I'm high. The combination of euphoria and amotivation is dangerous indeed, but I've grown accustomed to it. Weed makes me content, it completely and utterly removes all stress. Whereas alcohol will let me forget my problems (which I'm not too fond of), weed lets me recognize my problems, analyze my life, and ultimately just be happy that I have a life to begin with. Under the influence of either, I'm not going to accomplish much, but with weed it's because I don't consider anything that pressing, I realize that nothing's a big enough deal to get worried about it.

I know that a lot of people might consider this to be a bad attitude to have, and because of it I can't let myself get high every day until I have everything worked out. But still...open up the dime and stimulate your mind. Unlike most of the naysayers here I think weed actually can help you with your problems because it can help you deal with stress and sort everything out without feeling too oppressed by life. I dig it.

I smoke weed for the same reason I play video games, or watch tv, or jerk off, or eat a hamburger at 3 in the morning, because I enjoy it and i want to do it, i dont really have problems, my biggest problem right now is that Im out of weed :(
