i used a bong out in the cold last year on new years. wanna hear the worst part? we used vodka instead of water because we had a 40 but no water.

Instead of using the bong water as vodka, you should of got shot glasses and after you took a huge hit, just take a shot of vodka then blow the smoke out. Just one hit doing that will get you feeling pretty gooood.

I doubt that water in the bong would be a problem, unless you are leaving it outside when your not smoking, but if you arent, the water wont freeze when bubbling, it would have to be incredibly cold to do that. and as to your bong question, i agree with imagine, get creative(i would have quoted him but i got lazy, lol) you can make a bong out of anything, for instance:
a bottle (of any kind/material)
a coke can(not recomended for long time use)
you could probably make one out of wood, it would be tough though
a coffee can
a salad dressing thingy
a syringe
fruit
veggies
plumbing parts(also not recomended for long time use)

all of this works, but now that I mention it, i think might make a wood bong...

i thionk your pretty safe..... i once smoked a frozen joint which someone left on a garden-chair. it was still hitable

for the water, just keep a screwdriver in your pocket so you can just smash up the ice once the water is frozen, its way better than just water imo.

my friends left there bong in the garage (thier usual smoking spot) and it froze solid. will it crack when it melts? its a nice little bong and if anyone has tips for saving it i would appreciate it.
