Was buying DVDs a few weeks ago and although didn't really want to, bought The DaVinci Code.
Ok.. so screw the theories. What are the facts?
That the sacred feminine does exist. Here in India more than anywhere else in the world.
Ok there are still rapes, dowry deaths and getting felt up in clubs, but that's not what I'm talking about.
India is the land of the Goddess. Always has been. Hell, even the country is shaped like a 'V', the ancient symbol of a woman.
I'm talking about a growing awareness across the world about the return to the sacred feminine with the feminist movement that sprang out of the bra-burning '60s and more women gaining power in business and politics.
Now, if this concept of the sacred feminine stretches way back into hazy mists of time, there's another theory I'd like to offer.
It's pretty common knowledge that homo sapien genetic law says homo sapien male is designed to mate with as many homo sapien female as possible so as to propogate the species. Which today, means us guys want to fuck anything in a skirt.
When you watch the movie, The DaVinci Code, you notice aspects, visuals that you can't in the book.
Like the ritual of the Priory de Sion where Sauniere and his droopy wife are doing it on the kitchen table watched by a halloween party. Sex was celebrated, enjoyed and venerated as a way to God. Not just in shady rituals on Hollywood sets, but also here, with the Kamasutra and the temples of Khajuraho. And this was when the chicks were in charge.
Like living in the Osho ashram where permissible sex is old news.
As long back as I can remember, the guys have been in charge and sex has become some carnal activity. Interesting no?
I don't believe in the battle of the sexes. If there is a battle of the sexes, it probably began way back in distant ancient history and I'm no researcher.
What I do believe in, is sharing.

Another thing that came to mind was the rise and fall of empires.
The Romans, Ottomans, British and currently the American capitalist empire. I'm no commie, but the way the Yanks are so in-your-face with everything, from Iraq to Afghanistan has been getting to me like it has with a lot of people. Dubya must have been itching to blow up North Korea before the fake lesbian in charge there decided to build his own little blaster.
With China and India both on the upswing, economically speaking, balances of worldwide power are shifting.

Google searches on Nostradamus' predictions says a man with a blue turban, the antiChrist, who would enter Europe and would rule the world. Other translations say it would be the end of the world.
Seers should never be taken literally.
One translation of the quatrain says the blue turban refers to a land shaped like a turban surrounded by blue - India.
Manmohan Singh also wears a blue turban. When he said the anti-Christ, he could also have meant just not Christian. Also these predictions were written in the days of hard-ass Church rule. Right behind Manmohan Singh is another symbol: Sonia Gandhi, a woman.
When he says Europe, he wrote it in French and he could also have meant the most powerful land in the world. This time around, it could mean America. That could mean India might declare war on the US or it could mean India will take over the US economically.
The end of the world may just mean the end of the world as we know it.
A return to way of life predating the corruption of society that the Church brought. Not Christ, but the Church. That it should begin in India is only fitting.
Several friends and aquaintances faced with mummy telling them to get married have submitted to their folks' demands to at least go out with prospective partners, both guys and chicks. Although the reasons are different, it is a growing shift back to natural law.

Coincidentally, when you see Sonia Gandhi behind MannieMan and India-the land of the sacred feminine and the nuclear deal that just got signed with practically the whole Senate backing it.
Just when Hindu mystics say the age of Kalyug, or the dark ages is ending.
