That stinks man. My parents would flip if they found out I toked. They know that I used to dip (Skoal, chewing tobacco), they didn't care, they were just disappointed because I was putting my health at risk. If she does find out you toke, the advice I give, is explain why you use it. Explain that you're not addicted to anything other than the way it makes you feel, and that you have no desire to experiment with other drugs, and that you're not stupid (I don't know if you are or not). You need to be able to tell your parents what they want to hear without completely lying to them.

Keep your grades up. If your mom finds out about the weed, you can just tell her that it doesn't affect your grades or your health. She might be dissapointed, but she won't go off on you THAT badly. Just try to keep your grades up, one bad grade and she will immediatlely blame the pot.

my grades are up...all she says is that she has to protect me and that she doesnt want me seeing my friends cause they smoke. Im going to fucking go crazy on my mom one of these days..cuz i aint taking her shit i aint no little boy, ima smoke if i fuckingwant to my grades are fine im going to get a job so i wont be using there money for bud. idk what ima do.

Lying to your parents never gets anywhere and usually results in more trouble then anything else. I'd just come clean with her.

I'd just sit down with your folks and talk about all the issues of smoking weed, tell them that they have to trust you as their child and that you won't let smoking take over you. Keep up your school and other things, and tell them you won't screw it up. I know they want to protect you but they also have to trust you. To gain their trust you should just talk with them and stop lying.. This is what I did, and my parents (who are completely against drugs) allow me to toke up once in a while, I still don't tell them when I'm doing it, but that ain't lying is it?

Any way good luck bro, at least your parents and you had the time to think about it, my folks found out because they were called by a police officer.. now that sucks even more.

I cant just tell them i smoke weed they are the most anti drug parents you'll ever meet. By now i woulda been like fuck my mom and done whatever i wanted but my father is sick and i dont wanna make upset. Yesterday i went on erowid and read some interesting things about weed i should show my parents but im too much of a bitch to tell them i smoke weed. They think its worse then heroin n shit. Idk they are stupid, im still tryna figure out wat to do. Should i take the shit they give me for smokin "cigs", or should i be straight up with them and say i smoke weed for these reasons. My mom says i never eat but when im high i kill everything in the kitchen so that might help. Idk i need some input

I had the exact same problem last September. My parents were real dissapointed because they found cigars and shit like that. They never asked if I toke, but I definately would not tell them. If your parents are cool, and you think they can handle it, than just tell them. Make sure you say anything good you can. You could tell them you don't and you won't go to school and drive fucked up, and of course the whole its not addictive, and all that stuff too. But if your parents are like mine(religous and strict) I wouldn't tell them. If I told my parents they would probably never let me out again.

I'd honestly try and explain to them that you smoke, there is nothing to lose. The last thing you need to be told at 15 is being told to "find new friends". If they dont listen at all go fucking crazy, without getting agressive or violent if that makes sense. Thats just what i'd do, i dont wanna be held responsible for you getting sent to military school or something crazy like that cause ive never met your parents.

yeah, try to let her know that it's not the worst thing in the world to smoke weed and that there are a LOT worse things that you could be doing that you're not. if she finds out or if you decide to tell her, that is.

I know how a lot of non-smokers think about marijuana, they assume it's the worst thing in the world and that if you smoke it you will ruin your life and you'll die horribly etc... if she finds out or you tell her, please, for the sake of weed and everyone who smokes it, don't let her think that.

I noticed alot of stories on here about getting caught red handed. I was wondering if maybe they could all be merged to one thread and stickied. If not, why not have tried. Anyway, this just happened to my friend here in college, he's on 3 months probation.

My friends were driving back from Memphis down 55 (about an hour and a half journey). They had been blazing the entire time, firing up, smoking over and over. Well, dumb ass driving decides to do 85 and draw attention to the car. They get pulled over, all their shit is smoked, but the car reaks of weed so the cop decides to search. My friend still had some stuff, so he put it in his jacket pocket. The cops took his hookah that was in the trunk and a few other things to bust him for paraphanelia. They also took his jacket but gave it back to him because it was cold. So he was now sitting in the county jail with a jacket on. The next morning everyone else got the money to bail him out. He walked right out of jail, got his 3 months probation and it'll be expunged from his record..but get this...

The weed was still in his jacket through out the entire night. He was sitting in jail with a bag of weed the cops MISSED!

my parents are the type that don't give a fuck what goes on as long as you tell them so its all good for me. cept i didnt tell them shit about shit yet so.. They know what goes on though, like my moms comin to me with a box of magnum condoms they got the night they went to a nascar race, embaressing shit since my girlfriend was laughing in the backround.

About your mom finding out, at least she only thinkgs you smoke cigarrets. About her wanting you to find new friends, if that was my mom i would haveto slap her since she was always against the "You'r haning out with a bad crowd" type of person. I hate those kind of parents because 2 of my friends parents said the same bout me when i never did shit. anyways i gota go get some food.
